Very beautiful and you explain it so well. Your work is so professional looking you should honestly start selling these beautiful pieces I would definitely purchase some and I’m sure other women would support you too. Good luck sis💕💕
Thank you so much ..please is it a most we cut front and back separately ?can't I just place back on folded material and cut the front then do my neck alteration?
@@YejideSanni really sis, please what’s the difference between Kampala and ankara and will ankara material still come out this fine(especially the way it’s standing and straight on you ?)
Waooo I love your explanation May God increase your wisdom (amen). Pls if am to use Ankara I do I achieve this because the length of Ankara is 45 not up to 60 length how do I fold it. Uno I can't fold it into 4sizes again. Pls explain to me 🙏.
Thanks for watching. You won’t use the length of the Ankara which is 45inches, you’d use the breadth. And you won’t fold into 4 at once. So it means you need about 4 yards of Ankara. You’ll cut the back and front separately. So since you’re using the breadth of the Ankara so as to get your desired length, you’ll fold into 2 to cut either front or back first, then use it to cut the other one. I hope you understand this💕
Add 10 inches to the standard hip circumference of whatever size you’re making. For example, hip circumference for size 10 is 40. So to cut for the front, Divide by 4 which will give you 10 inches, mark on the hip line, then add 10 inches for the fullness effect.
Thanks for watching. Your hips should be around 45/47. So you can add 8/10inches to a quarter of your hip measurement to mark on the fabric. This is going to be okay for you in terms of wideness.
Wow. Where have you been all my life. You made it look so easy. God bless you

Yes, definitely. You can cut both together, if you can do it conveniently💕
@@YejideSanni Thank you
Thanks so much sis
Please if am to use Ankara, is it also 2 yards
Ah no, 4 yards.
@@YejideSanni really sis, please what’s the difference between Kampala and ankara and will ankara material still come out this fine(especially the way it’s standing and straight on you ?)
Yes, the Ankara will still come out fine, you can use Ankara but I’d advise you to use Kampala for the best effect and beauty😉
How many inches did you use for your inside pocket
Thanks
But what if u want to add a pleat to it at the shoulder for it look abit like danshiki.
And how many yards is enough for this. Thanks love
I used 4 yards for this and a tutorial of the danshiki style is coming up soon💕
@@YejideSanni ok sis thanks
For the bead, how much did u spend for it? Then how much can u charge for a client on this.
Does it have slit by the sides

World best tutor
Lol thank you🥰
Pls how did you get the length
You wanted
Because Kampala is by 45
How did you fold it ??
I used that part where you measure the yards to cut out the length I want, not the 45 inches part.
Lovely
Thank you💕
Waooo..thank you so much
You’re welcome💕
Thank you for this. Pls are not sloping the shoulder ?
You can do that if you want to but it’s not necessary.
Is this bubu dress a one size fit all? How many yards did you use ma'am
I used 2 yards of batik Kampala. Yes you can make one size to fit size 10-16
@@YejideSannipls is batik kampala different from Kampala?
I am a size 8, how many yards can I use to achieve this design please?
4 yards can make this dress, for a size 8.
Please how do categorize this sizes it’s been a bit confusing really so how do I range a size 6, 8,12 etc ??
Add 10 inches to the standard hip circumference of whatever size you’re making. For example, hip circumference for size 10 is 40. So to cut for the front, Divide by 4 which will give you 10 inches, mark on the hip line, then add 10 inches for the fullness effect.
@@YejideSanni pls what about hip 36 how many inches will I add to give the fullness effect
Thanks.
Please add 5 inches, 10 inches would be too much. 5 is okay to add to hips 36.
Thank you so much. Pls what is the name of this material?
Thanks for watching. This is kampala.
God bless you dear
Amen. God bless you too Pamela💕

If I want to sew this style for a size 8 ,am I to use the same measurement as the one in the video
Yes, every other measurement is okay, only reduce the hips so the bubu is not so big.
Thanks
Pls.wht about for size 12 should I use 10 for the armhole
Yes, 10 for the armhole/round sleeve is fine.
Thanks very much sis
You’re welcome💕
Can I use Ankara fabric and bridal satin for this style?
Yes, definitely. Bridal for the chest design.
@@YejideSanni ok,thanks alot
Wow I love ur teaching, please i am a size 14 how can I get the measurements
Thanks for watching. Your hips should be around 45/47. So you can add 8/10inches to a quarter of your hip measurement to mark on the fabric. This is going to be okay for you in terms of wideness.
Is it possible to use an africa print aside kampala?
Yes, of course.
Super easy
Yes, thank you💕
