Look, I'm a card carrying Nikon fanboy, no shame, I admit it. The hype behind this is nauseating me at this point. All we have is a name, a release date and some gushing quotes. At this point I'm just waiting on specs in a mildly annoyed state.

There is really one thing Nikon has to get right in this camera …great tracking of all subjects. Nikon doesn’t even have lower price camera that can do this. How embarrassing.
The best marketing was actually Steve Perry and Rachel Bigsby, both wildlife shooters, saying they tested the Z6iii and will have reviews ready on Monday morning. That got my attention because if the autofocus will now do birds in flight, it has come a long way. Nikon was way to quiet for way too long and the comments suggest that most people pulled the plug on a Z8 or a Zf already because of no hope for a Z6iii any time soon. There is such a thing as being too tight-lipped about what is in development. It seems like most Nikon shooters are not looking to buy another camera for another year or two now. The Z6iii came too late.

I liked how they did the teasers with the Z9. They should have done something similar with the Z6 III.
Nikon marketing and promotional media gives a corporate feel rather than exciting and upbeat. My thought is they are trying to keep it in a professional style feel.

Vahagraphy, the Z6iii will get here when it does. Too many false reports over the last few months.
I get your point, but i doubt that you know more than Nikon marketing team about how to sell their products, maybe this is the goal, exceed expectations and surprise with a product far above what was expected, and not increase the hype even more. Just deliver someting awesome. I was expecting more teasers too... but i think it was a long wait, people don't want more teasers.

Rumoured specs on NR mentioned a "new cooling design". Meaning it could have a fan like some Lumix cameras. I hope not, but that would probably solve/mitigate overheating issues.

I don’t like this “I know it better than you”. If you look beyond the US border you will realise that it was an identical campaign around the world and it surely was orchestrated by Nikon corporate with intent. The teaser did exactly what it presumably was supposed to do: create some excitement in the YT world. But if you want to support the Sony fanboys in bashing Nikon you are on the right track…
