  • Being a look at the locations, origins & spirit of Charles Dickens Christmas classic.
Nik & Mark explore locations Dickens probably had in mind & use the ghosts of past, present & yet to come, to look at elements of the author's life relevant to the story.

Thanks ever so much. Yes lovely pub isn’t it, I wanted to go in there even though apparently Scrooge didn’t! 😁

Hi Mark, Nick and Pete, just found this video, funnily enough while searching for one on the same subject we released last week. We’ve just sat and watched this all the way through and really enjoyed it. We really hope you do more videos and look forward to watching. I can’t believe we didn’t think of doing the, ‘Ball Court’ gag, genius 😂. Anyway, new subscriber here and looking forward to your forthcoming videos. 🍻

@@mermaidtavern7489 hey Nik, you’re most welcome and we’re not too far from Manc, we’re North Wales based, near Mold. I’m guessing you’re both the the acting, teaching profession? Me and Rach have worked (and still are) in theatre for almost 30 years. Me as a sound designer and head of sound and AV at a large regional producing house theatre, and Rach as an ex dancer, now choreographer and dance school owner / teacher. We love that you said about you doing videos with book connections and liking the nod to Shakespeare. Good luck with the channel and look forward to following you / supporting you on your journey. Just out if interest, what made you start the channel? Ours came from lockdown binge watching travel vlogs / midlife crisis haha. Cheers 🍻

Are there no good barbers in London? Boris and his Benny Hill look. The shorter one looks like he cut his own hair in the dark.
