I have to admit, most of my bosses over the years were pretty damn nice.

Sister of that< picture. Some of these made me cry...I' m retired now, but only had maybe 2 good and kind bosses...I worked hard, did above and beyond, but some people don't appreciate what they have, then complain they can't find a good employee...hey, dumb💩, word gets around, they don't WANT to work for you ..thank God my customers ( ran a pest control route) were kind to me and made my job worthwhile ❤❤❤❤

When I made the decision to leave my job as a greeter at a Home Depot a few years ago to salvage what was left of my mental health (nothing against the company, it was the nutty customers that were eroding my mental state) my boss at the time said that something along the lines of, well, he understood my stance. Lockdown was rough on everyone. I honestly don’t remember exactly what he told me, but he was an excellent leader, helping me several times when I needed it, and he did not object at all when I put in my two weeks notice. I do hope he’s doing well these days.

So everyone gets an extra 15 minutes for lunch?

Really thought the same, it's a working place, not a mosque.

The rule is...."what is good for the goose is good for the gander".
I also, if they dont like that one, look at them with a hard face and say "I am just doing what everyone else is doing, so why are you singling me out?"
That one works well. I do it often. We get a 10 minute break in the morning and the afternoon and 20 minute for lunch. Some people that come to my station to work take a full on 30 minute lunch and two 20 minute breaks. So I do the same.
I can be on time. I am ALMOST always. But if the people I am working with are going to be slackers, why do I have to be the one to shine? We have a boss for a reason. And I make an EXTRA point to be extra. I try harder. I care more. Might not seem like it, but I will work anyone under the table. I just wont be taken advantage of.
So, TLDR, yes. Everyone does get an extra 15 minutes. If you really care, you will make management realize the problem and force them to fix it. They will notice.
