This poem was inspired by true events a few years back, I started to follow the stories of the immigrants have been through and made a poem about their journey. The cover picture brought tears to my eyes…I’m an immigrant and I understand the hardship and poverty in the third world country. It gives me a different perspective in life, I appreciate what this country has to offer and forever be greatful for it!! Despite the controversial about illegal immigrants took a toll on our country. This poem described what they’ve been through and their struggles and challenges.
