- This is a short film based on the Creepypasta "SLIDESHOW" by DANATBLAIR.
This is a very loose sequel to my other film PORTFOLIO. Check that out as well.

Suggest what creepypasta you want to be seen made into a film!
really loved the whole feel of this. wish the ending had more of a hook but i think it was done right. good job
Yeah, I felt that way too, this was made in too much of a rush for me to really get a hard hitting ending. :) Glad you enjoyed it either way! :)
Omg! How creepy! Yikes! Lol! I loved it and I loved that it was like a sequel to "Portfolio"!
I just happened upon your work by accident but I'm so happy I did. You've earned yourself a new follower! GREAT work Tobey!! :)
omg your films are so awesomely filmed
Thank you! :)
myuuji music ^^
Very well done :)
I LOVE this film! It's really creepy and I feel terrified watching it. The music, the pictures, just perfect!
But I find the hand a little "tacky". I don't think it fits in the right way, but that is just my opinion... Keep up the good work! I look forward to see more :)
Thanks for the movie adaptation. If you are one of the people who asked for permission on reddit, I am excited to see how it turned out. If you are someone I haven't spoken to, I still want to thank you and say good work.
We haven't spoken actually. I'm really glad you liked it since it's never my intention to "steal" what other people have put hours into. I always put credit where credit is due! So thank YOU! :) And thanks for not, you know, suing me haha! Great Creepypasta by the way! I always adore those short, hard hitting creepypastas! :)
That was realy cool I like it :)
Im glad you did! Thank you! :)
so at the end, he vanished or something?!
sequel to PORTFOLIO had no idea!!!
Haha, I'm always thrilled to hear that people understood the connection! :) Thanks for watching! :)
I liked it. Not much more to say :)
And I'm glad you did! :)
you schould make more of this creepypasta's based video's
There are actually a few on my channel. :) Portfolio, Autopilot, Lights out, and there's a teaser for the thing in the window!
At first I was like, "Huh, this is cool" and then when I saw the pictures I was "NO THIS IS NOT VERY COOL ANYMORE."
Haha! I though no one would understand the link between this one and portfolio since Im not really familiar to people following my work! But Im glad you did! :D Thank you!
I need to read that creepypasta cause I didn't understand to much
Go to Tobey's channel and watch Portfolio, then come back and watch this. They're connected, and dangit is it chilling.
alrighty then
It started off great (the only thing I can comment on was the camera was much to shaky in those wide shots) this would have been a lot better if A.) You changed or got rid of the music. and B.) Changed the ending.
Honestly, when it got to the end I thought it was rather... dumb. What's there to be scared of? Had he gone one more picture which showed what was about to kill him and then he looked up and that thing happened, that would have sold it for me. But this just didn't cut it for me.
Hah! Where were you during shooting, the ending you suggested would actually be ALOT better! Oh well, thats what I get for making a script-less film i guess haha. But thanks for the input! :)
Tobey Waldem Haha, I would definitely suggest getting a slider (if you don't already have one) that would give just the right amount of movement without it being distracting.
Ah yes, scriptless filmmaking... I have been there haha It is always good to at least have an outline that way your story is more compelling and powerful.
No problem! That is what the filmmaking community is about!
Caleb Chamberlain I actually own a slider, this was just not that ambitious of a project for me to carry my tripod, slider and all that on the bus. ^^ But if you watch my film AUTOPiLoT you can see that I have some slider shots in there. :)
Gotcha. Film riot actually did an improv slider idea where they used a sandbag and put the camera ontop of it, so maybe something similar might work? I am not sure, but it would be worthwhile to look into if the same rpoblem arises again.
Okay cool, I will look into it B-)
i see what you are saying about the ending, as it is different from the original pasta and has a different tone (the pasta was not really supernatural in tone, but more of a serial killer story). I can honestly say that I did not expect the final shot. However, I like this interpretation or at the very least the concept behind it. Creepypastas are the modern versions of campfire stories so each adaptation and variation is valid in its own way. I think it is fun to see how a story is retold and adapted by the audience.
