I enjoy a challenge! I feel like Bazel is slow and telegraphed enough that if I get hit its my fault. And if he is interrupting my fights and ruins things, its my fault for not bringing dung pods and flash pods. Bazel has a really unique design, a recognisable silhouette, and a sick battle theme.

I want you to know. That this is the first time I ever sat through patreon names being read out loud and actually enjoyed it. I may just join for that.
This probably won’t be seen... but Gabe, if I may suggest, will you give The Greatest Jagras its own Monster Matchup? It’ll be interesting to see a video discussing Great Jagras as a proper monster, instead of a 2 minute complaint about how he’s just a punching bag.
Not to mention, you could also make the joke that Jagras finally got accepted to the MHWSBSP.
One minor thing about black diablos that should be noted is that her charge attack where she revs up will always stun you if it hits you. Unless you have stun resist lvl3
Small advice: Just like it's normal counterpart (and like anything with a long body like B-52 actually), the bow can make this fight a lot easier, with our friends dodge and dragon piercer.
Also, it's funny that she's weak to ice, cause most of her weapons have ice as an hidden element.
Ah yes, the B-52 matchup is coming. Keep that guy's number afterwards, I heard good ol' picklejho isn't a fan of bombings and you could use an equally unstoppale force when the final boss shows up.
They tie in their turf war so clearly they're at least equally powerful, don't @ me

As for any helpful tips and tricks for anyone wanting to fight black diablos, I've got nothing for you I hated fighting diablos and I never wanted to fight the optional black diablos as it basically just sounded like diablos but with PMS.

For thou to face true anger of the 2 horned demon, thou must gain access to generations ultimate, hunt every deviant and unlock... the one they call Bloodbath. Once you have survived it's steamy onslaught of tail-slammed flying rocks and instakill instacharges, thou shalt level this deviant to EX. This is one of the greatest challenge any hunter can face. Extreme speed, a lot of different insane damage-dealing moves and an uncontrollable grudge for the hunter that once chopped one of his horns and one of his tailcases off. THAT is true anger.

Honestly after fighting master rank monsters a black diabolos is like a vacation.
Tempered Black Diablos was probably the first cliff face that I hit. And I mean that literally as she gored me againdt a cliff face several times.

The funniest thing about Black Diablos is that, despite being classified as a subspecies, it technically IS just a regular female diablos in heat.
Yeah. Big OOF on the Guild for not doing their research.
(Before anyone tries to bring up their own theories, I am aware that the reason it is classified as a subspecies is because of just how much MORE dangerous the Black Diablos is over the regular Diablos. I just like to think that it's a mistake made by the Guild. :)

As for regular Diablos, her attacks are pretty straight forward and telegraphed so using a weapon with a shield, or better, a effective counter mechanic will only help you handle the TORO TORO wyvern
