Coming back to this video Dean, as I got Robin (Macfarlane) a while back and today finally got Batman (MacFarlane). I 100% agree w/ you by putting the nicer sculpted MacFarlane figures w/ the superior and larger Mattel Batmobile. It works so well too, as my new MacFarlane Batman is slightly shorter than the Mattel Batman figure👍

Excellent comparison video, from Dean for All Things 80s.
And once again, it has to be pointed out that McFarlane's toy designs and product, are a joke.
For years, fans have complained that McFarlane's toys fail in quality, articulation and scale, but instead of correcting these faults, McFarlane just ignores the complaints and continues to produce substandard toys.

GREAT and much-needed video! I also own the 2014 Mattel Batmobile, and skipped the MacFarlane one after seeing it in person, but I was needing to hear the pros and cons on the figures. You've convinced me to go ahead and pick up the figures! I got my Mattel ones out the other day, and the super-skinny legs on both Batman and Robin are warping! I was trying to remember what the 2014 Batmobile (which was a TRU exclusive here) originally cost. Seems like it was high at the time, like maybe $60?

It fits the 1/6 scale Hot Toys 66 Batman and Robin. It's about as accurate as you can get. It's expensive, but you're absolutely getting what you pay for. I still find it amazing that Corgi, back in the day, managed to pack a moving jet flame, working mortars and wire cutter into their small die cast Batmobile, yet neither of these huge modern ones have any action features at all! Great review Dean. You comparison is very thorough. I have found that most vehicles need to be slightly larger in scale for the figures to fit. 1/18 scale figures usually fit better in 1/15 scale vehicles. So Mattel most likely used this idea when sizing the "1/12" scale Batmobile.
