Awesome job bro, need more 4th gen content.Im getting this system for my 98 FORMULA LS1
Sounds awesome, thanks for sharing!
Just picked up an SS with 12,000 miles on it. Love the sound and that it is not too loud. Thanks.
awesome..thanks for watching and commenting..dont forget to subscribe
"one time, in band clamp......"
Great video. No bs just right to it!
Sounds really good man.
Thank you
Very Nice Video, getting ready to put a Borla CAT BACK system on my 2000 WS6 , Thank you for the Video
Awesome..good luck!!
@@klowny1969 I installed the Borla and it went just like you did in the video, except along with the cut you did I had to make another cut to the incoming pipe into the stock muffler cause I don't have a lift in my garage, ( no wife doesn't won't me to cut a hole in the garage ceiling to install a lift ) just a floor jack and jack stands and I couldn't get the car off the ground high enough to rotate the stock muffler down to remove it.
FYI , the Borla system is way to quiet , don't like it, I'm probably going to return it and get the Madhammer like you did.
I got a 2000 Trans am. Love my GMMG catback. I pop for the 7 inch oval tip. 👌. Especially soundeding real good with LT headers
Awesome! Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe
Nice! My car is a 2002 Topless Trans Am WS6 true last of the breed in NBM Panty Dropper. Tho my rare triple blue WS6 Hurst Ed Factory 4 speed M21 was my Favorite
madhammer exhaust has been on my list of "next upgrades" for my 4th gen for a bit now... for those that arent familiar with it, its the same "gmmg" exhaust that came on the limited edition f-bodies, & is still available thru the guy who originally built it, aka madhammer (madhammer2 is the website) & its high quality 304 stainless & sounds amazing! very little drone (w/ cats) & lots of jaguar-ish lift-throttle over-run when decelerating... & loud, but with cats & maniflods, not painfully loud... but with headers, it sounds like a top-fuel dragster... haha! ...ive emailed the guy who builds this stuff & hes a good dude, & i like to support true hand built american craftsmanship! u can also buy the chambered mufflers individually, which is also on my list, gonna get a couple for the old muscle car, which is actually where the chambered exhaust came from... google exhaust systems like what was ran back in the day on alot of the big dog muscle cars & ull see alot of the chambered exhaust systems (not to be confused with the "chambered" mufflers like the hidious sounding blow-masters) ...cant go wrong with madhammer
The guy who builds the lives about 10 minutes from me. I work for ups and he ships about 10 to 20 of these a week. They're very well build and sound mean as hell
Do you know if he makes these f-body exhaust kits in true duals?
when i got my exhaust from him, he customized a few aspects of it for me ...& said he does build some custom exhaust systems... so although he doesnt show a "true dual" set up on his web page, he does offer pieces of the exhaust to be purchased individually, like the mufflers, tips, & such... & i did talk to him about building a custom dual system for my 71 chevy & he said "no problem" ...so while i cant say for sure, if u ask him, he just might? ...hard to beat top quality american made craftsmanship, & supporting small buisnesses
Lots of good info, thanks, just installed a Borla on my 2000 WS6 , don't like the sound at all, not loud enough , going with MADHAMMER returning the Borla
I've had a gmmg catback on my 02 ws6 for years. This is definitely the best sounding exhaust for stock manifolds. My only gripe was the exhaust tips they supply. I switched mine out for corsa clones. I now have kooks long tubes and ory and its loud af.
Short, sweet and to the point Clown. Quality videos brother....
Thank you sir
nice exhaust klowny. i want a black ws6.
Thank u..they are nice
How long will that muffler last to keep the car some what quite, I had a 1972 camaro with headers I put on what they called back in the day glass packs basic a muffler that was similar to what you have, but the muffler was round and you could look inside one end and see all we way through, but the problem was they didn't last very long, I had to replace they every year, so I put on a thin flat muffler with the biggest opening that was available at the time, they real gave the car that deep rumble
This muffler will last a very long time
Great video! I guess Briana had the day off?
Lol she took the day off
Was it stock muffler with no cat
I think the best sound is LTs with a magnapack 14in single in the pipe after the Y then straight pipe out the back.
That sounds good too..Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe and hit that bell
And that's not a bad thing!
Lol
Come down to Florida and install this on my 2002 SS. I will get you and two friends or family into Disney World how about that LOL
Lol thanks man..doesnt look like I'll be going down to florida any time soon though
I have a borla on my 1999 ws6. Which one do you think sounds better? Really would appreciate your opinion. Maybe will change mine again.
I think you can't really go wrong with either My 2 favorites are GMMG and Borla the one with the adjustable plate's I have gmmg and love it but my buddy got a borla on his 00 Camaro with a cam and it's sounds fn awesome!
I run a borla in my teal camaro..sounds real nice..gmmg is also nice
Are those the tripods you got from amazon?
Tripods?
Will the chamber exhaust restrict power
It shouldnt
Sounds nice and throaty, not that flangy metal sound like most.
That's right! Don't forget to subscribe
How long did it take for them to ship the system out to you?
This was a customers car..shouldn't take long..dont forget to subscribe
man i love dem cars... that little rattle you here after you rev her isnt good.... sounds like some bearings or somethingg going bad
It had a loose oxygen sensor..thanks for watching
Damn the rest on that car just let me know thank God I live in the south I have cars at 50 years old don't have that kind of rest on them
Long tubes with no cat would probably violate sound laws!
It's a shame, isnt it?
Is this a 3inch exhaust?
3 inch then drops to 2.5 inches when it splits in two after the axle
Might want to Elizabeth Taylor Vaseline treatment the license plates.
Good idea!
I got one on mine, it didn't help on power, just sound
Cool..Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe
Does it drone inside while cruising?
no drone..thanks for watching
I love my low idle drone... reminds me of big block chevy grain trucks on the farm.
I'm running shitty Headman headers, 2.5 inch pipes, Original 10's Flowmasters. So friggin loud.
Great install. Not impressed by the sound though
You'd be impressed in person
sounds better with a cam and long tubes
She's crusty on her belly
Yes she is..just needs some butter sauce
Don't be a dummy, bust on her tummy.
