This is not true story about Lufthansa at all. My cat was shipped with overnight stay in Lufthansa lounge. She arrived next day, dirty, paws and belly, and even sides were yellow (in urine) and in another kennel box (different from that one she was shipped), absolutely stressed out, wet (as they overfilled the water bowl) and with diarrhea... I asked why you the shipping box was changed and I bingo… They told she was let out for relief... They would better not touched the animals with their dirty hands. Where gloves on the video. They do not prevent infections and disseminate them and will definitely infect your animal.
I do not recommend to believe in those fairytales in the commercial. I guess the real situation in that so called logging is deplorable. Lufthansa pet in cargo? Never again!!!!
I know from personal experience that Lufthansa does a very good job with the animals. The Frankfurt airport is a huge airport and many companies are involved in this process. Sometimes things will go wrong, but 90 percent of the cases things go very well. I know this for a fact. I would ship my pet with them any time.
