You can speak professionally even spontaneously if you train yourself to communicate in this way - people do it all the time for high end job interviews, court cases, professional debates etc.

Yes, I would agree that it is closer to a band 9 than an 8.5
She sounds quite unnatural, kind of reading a script. Coherence, relevance, lexical resource, grammatical range and extent all is there, but some phonological features such as intonation, articulation and stress are intermittently accurate.

I think some comments are not fair and unfriendly. This is an English test, not a human test. Some people talk like that way. Efficient talk sometimes sounds like a robotic talking. And some professional persons don’t have many facial movements.
I find it odd that she's not even taking a few seconds to think about what she's going to say. Like, how does that work? Even when speaking in your mother tongue you need to order your train of thought!

Yes, she did have time to view the questions before hand so that we can give a very clear example of a band 9. However, I do feel that she would have been able to answer at this level without review, her English is very strong.

The home version is called the IELTS Indicator exam - the standard version is done at a test center.

Yes, it will - you need to use English - if you insert a name like of a dish or place in your language, make sure that it is really clear.

Since you don't know questions you'll be asked, there's no way you can be that prepared, finding something to talk about random given subject is not always easy, that's not related to language. Besides, the way she speaks is not even spoken language, it's almost written language...
