I've probably made this comment 10 times when you talk about your kids in the NICU. My twins were born at 30 1/2 weeks...my wife's water broke 2 days prior to that...completely unexpected start to labor. She was sent to a local Children's Hospital (Springfield, Illinois). The kids spent 2-3 months in the NICU...both born around 3 1/2 pounds. My wife spent the entire time in the Ronald McDonald House next door. I worked full-time...heading over after work a couple nights a week (2 hour RT) and every weekend. It was a very trying time for everyone, but the love shown by the doctors and nurses in that NICU helped beyond belief. Thank you to all those doctors and nurses that work every day to pull children out of very difficult situations and keep them alive for the world to enjoy.
My kids are now 16 years old. It's amazing to think back on that time and realize it was so long ago...when it feels like it was just yesterday. Now they're driving...and it's almost as nerve-racking as it was 16 years ago in that hospital. LOL

As a father of a special needs daughter that spent 33 days in the NICU unit was the hardest days of my life cause i couldn't do nothing to help her or fixe her but buy the Grace of God and a lot of praying she pulled through and now she is 6 years old. She still can't walk yet or talk but Praise God she's still here and she's full of love and Smiles and I can't thank God enough for her and my wife. We didn't leave her side without praying before we had to go so i could get up and go to work the next day but the Lord helped us through it all and still is. Thank u Jesus 🙏

Love watching the podcast. The bible verse at the end of this podcast is one of my favorites. My dad passed away a little over a year ago and when I was looking at his bible to find some of his favorite verses, that is one he had bookmarked, and had written down on a notepad. Such a great verse!

I still watch Duck Dynasty all the time over an over I love the T.V show I wish it was still on but now I watch the podcast on my phone all day at work an would love to get to meet all of yall but especially uncle Si I could listen to him tell stories for ever an would love to go on a duck hunt with the family but that’s just a dream thanks for all the laughs love you guys god bless keep up the good work an I’m sure I have watch Duck Dynasty more than anyone in the world lol just putting that out there because I watch it everyday along with the podcast

Something Martin sais struck a cord with me. My son spent 9 days in the NIC Unit. The doctors set up him nurses in the home, so he could home. I was talking to lady at the agency one day and she told me, " I don't have trouble finding nurses to cover your son. Most of our patients don't even know anyone is there. But my nurses tell me your son is such a loving baby." AS the years went on, I met a lot of single mothers whose babies didn't know anyone was around.,My son's doctor told me when my husband abandoned us, that "most men leave when they have a sick child because they can't believe they have a sick child.' In all the years I spent at the hospital with my son, I only seen 1 dad with his daughter and he was a single dad. My hat is off to Martin John David and Si, for staying the course.
The statistics for men leaving their sick wives compared to the other way around is also alarmingly higher. Not trying to make all men look like scum, but the bad ones really do a fantastic job of it.

Just curious. If you all know that God saved Phil from being an alcoholic and living a sinful life, then please tell me how can you all even drink beer or even chew snuff? I really do like watching you all, but I’m just confused on the other.
You can still drink beer just don't go over bored with it. Obviously phil had a problem with drinking to the point where he had to quit or it was gonna kill him. And as far as dipping ik alot of people that dip everything you do just don't go over bored with that's with everything in life.i dip and have been dipping for yrs and drink on occasion. And these boys I don't think drink the only one I think does from time to time is Martin he said he will occasionally drink. Beer with dinner but nothing like he use to. I hope I'm making sense best way ik how to explain it.
Actually if you eat like shit once a day it's worse for you because the less you eat the more fat your body stores.. just like water.. just workout and actually work out for an hour or two a day and you can eat whatever you want and be ripped
