This might be the single greatest duck hunting video on CZcams. Good scenery, outstanding dog work, pretty good shots, from a group of guys not shooting a box of shells at a single duck. Well done Elliot.
That’s high praise! I’m so glad you liked it so much. I’ll say this. Watching Stella and Georgie work together in shallow water never gets old !
Wonderful scenery, considerate shooting and fantastic dog work - what's not to like Thanks Elliot
Such a fun hunt
This is 100% the best video you have dropped. Stella and G killing it. The steadiness, honoring, and the style was nothing you see on other videos
Pretty cool seeing someone I grew up with who lives right down the road from me get up and hunt with y’all, Alex is a good man!
I’m motivated to go back and watch your videos on how Georgie got to where she is - Beyond amazing Elliot Thanks for what you do for us retired guys You’re the best
Absolutely loved watching those dogs work!
It’s a wonder the dogs have any hair left on there tails… great video great hunt fantastic dog work
Great hunt! The best of eats too. Who'd have dreamed 20 yrs ago that a late November/early December hunt there would yield an all teal limit with no mallards? Sign of our changed climate these days, Barry
I would agree that it's definantely odd. But I tend to believe this is just a "this year" thing. We are in a huge drought and also an El Nina weather cycle. Both of these I would agrue are huge contributors.
Well I understand your thoughts on climate change I think Elliott, and I'm not saying it's climate change or not, just our changed climate, which is trending warmer over the last 20 years, making it so much harder for us duck hunters to plan trips or even have good hunts some days when the weather is warmer these days and ducks don't need to fly and forage for food. I traveled to Kansas and Oklahoma for several years on trips in the past and always on the first week of December. It was golden - plenty of fat mallards down there and a little ice to contend with but not so much as to be painful to deal with or close out your hunting, just enough to worry the ducks and keep them moving. Golden days they were..... @@FreelanceDuckHunting
Once this drought ends it will return to normal. Then we'll all be happy again.
Everyone should pay attention to Elliot’s gun control with his dog in a layout blind. 11:35 Dog goes out he lifts his gun, dog comes in he lifts his gun. I have hunted I. Many layout blind spreads and most hunters don’t even think about doing that for a dog or a person.
I like the color scheme on the late season teal. Sure was a lot of them for December hunt
Awesome hunt love the lay-out blinds though with my arthritic right knee tough to get up and seated guess I could stay seated the entire hunt.Hunt in LA and Venice has been decent place to hunt!
Both yours dogs are really good dogs , and right about a good partner ! My dog went everywhere with me it’s awesome to have a lab . Great dogs
Don't think I would know what to do if I ever had a hard bottom to hunt over, Illinois, mostly all waterways silted in,bad, can't hardly wade alot of it,great camera work
You have really been getting on the teal this year! Beautiful hunt
Awesome video! Keep up the great work and terrific dog!
Nice y'all! God provides everything.......we just thank Him and enjoy it!
Y’all used Canada floaters down here in Arkansas? Just gave me a new idea, thanks!
And that spreader rig most definitely works no doubt.👍
Awesome dog work
Thank you! Having Stella and Georgie hunting together is so much fun!
you guys shoot a lot of ducks on the water. interesting......
Both dogs have some serious want to, fun to watch em haul a$$ after the birds.
Bagging wild animals reminds me of the awesome scene in "Planet of the Apes" (1968), when the apes are hunting humans, "unaliving" them, hanging them up for photos. Mankind is the only predator on Earth that destroys animals for fun. And, mankind intentionally tries to take the strongest, largest, healthiest of a species (trophies) which destroys the gene pool; unlike nature that takes the weakest, lamest, sickest; thereby strengthening the gene pool. Just another reason that, when mankind is extinct, the universe will rejoice.
It blows my mind how in kansas you can hunt public have no cover on your blind and scream at the ducks and they come in here in NE OK you cant even do that on private
That's odd, we've hunted a public lake in that area of Oklahoma and smashed them. Sounds like a "you" problem to me.
@@FreelanceDuckHunting if you hunted here often especially later in the season you cant even pick up your call unless its a big weather day id say 2-3 hunts out of 30 i can use my calls and have ducks respond in a way thats not going 500 feet in the air and to the next county i dont know when the last time you hunted around NE OK was but it must have been years ago and it must have been copan or hulah for you not to have been literally swarmed
Man do you shoot them in the air ! A lot of water swatting ! Come on !
It always seems so strange to me when people want to impose their own made up rules on others.
@@FreelanceDuckHunting I don’t know about made up rules ! lol But you guys had such a good spot it just seemed silly to shoot teal on the water . Sorry didn’t mean to be rude
