The Bhopal gas tragedy is the worst industrial accident in history. An American company, Union Carbide, had a factory in Bhopal which had a leak of a toxic gas Methyl Iso Cyanate (MIC) on Dec 2 1984 [Edit year correction] which killed several thousand people immediately, and many hundreds of thousands were injured horribly, and continued to slowly die over decades as a result. To make things worse, because most of the dead were the poorest section of society, they never really saw justice. UC blocked, fought, litigated and resisted their way to paying out damages and compensation.

Relying on people from the internet is dicey, to say the least. He picks up too many prejudices and idiocy without any context (Chattisgarh etc). To understand the communist and maoist movements in some areas in the country would take another full video from a real academic source (not something you'll get easily on youtube). For instance, the naxalite movement was a grassroots movement against very oppressive land (slave) owners -- the history of India is mostly the story of poor man treated horribly and very little autonomy. "Bonded labor" is another whitewashed term for slave labor.

And while I don't discount them throwing money around, none of it was actually reaching people who were fighting for their lives. China has had more success in Nepal and other areas buying unrest and division and chaos, but that doesn't mean the Indian people are wrong to resist oppression of any sort, whether by British or the rich corrupt Indians who replaced them.
I hate the Chinese govt, but they're a distant menace. Whereas corrupt leaders in India are right here on our heads making lives miserable and committing one atrocity after another.

    24:30 I will explain
-So the union territory is named National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT of Delhi). This is also referred to as the city of Delhi.
-This union territory comprises of 11 districts (or county).
-The capital of India is New Delhi which is 1 of the 11 districts of the Union territory.
So the capital of India is inside Delhi.
    Fun Facts
-NCT of Delhi is 1 of 3 Union Territories which have their own Legislative Assembly. This means that unlike other union territories Delhi can elect local representatives to make its own local laws and also elect a local Chief minister.
-The Chief Minister of Delhi was recently arrested and jailed for his alleged involvement in a money laundering scandal. Some say this was done on purpose by the federal government to weaken opposition as elections are just around the corner.
