Bench Press 135 lbs - 24 reps

- In this video I bench press and rep out 135 lbs for maximum reps. I really tried to push until muscle failure. I end up doing 24 reps with no spotter. If you have any questions about the bench press set I use, or the gear I use, I will post links to it. My max bench is 225 lb. Just turned 20 a few days before recording.

You have to live it
I just hit 40 reps today which im stoked about. 19 years old 5 foot 10” and 196lb
Your range of motion may be hindering you. Push back slightly when pushing up. Bar should be over your eyes. You're wasting energy going straight up. Allan Thrall did a video explaining bar path if you want more in depth explanation.
Yea your right. The problem is these pegs are sticking out so I worry I'll hit them. Thanks a lot for the feedback though.
What's does your program look like ?
Also in order to get this strength for the bench I did a 5x5 program for only bench. I hit 180 lb 5x5 then hit 225 for one rep (could of done two or three but didn't want to risk it because I have no spotter). Now I'm just trying to maintain that.
@@AlanGrandman gotcha i tried everything to get up my bench and I just can't. My max is only like 165 for 1 to lol
