Great video, very thorough, clear camera work and good narration. I just bought some IRO "boomerang" shackles based on this video and was wondering in which direction to install them. Northeast XJ but well taken care of and pretty rust free so I hope I don't run into too many issues. Been hitting them up intermittently for the past few weeks with PB Blaster and Liquid Wrench. Thanks for posting.

Glad you liked the vid! If you go toward the end of the video (9:32) in you can see they angle towards the rear bumper. They came with no instructions so I went with what I saw others do online and what I thought lined up best with the leaf spring bolt. They work well & have been off-road many times so far without issue:-)

Im terrified to attempt cracking the shackle bolt on my xj. Owned it almost ten years and never touched it. Does have an adda leaf from the PO so maybe its been out in the past 20 years😆🤦🏻‍♂️

Soak it for several days in PB Blaster or some such & go slowly and gently - you should be fine.

Did you notice any ride difference. I have a 5.5" ift and the shackle is pretty straight up and down. I'm hoping this I'll add at least a bit of an angle
