- Vince Carter's 2008-2009 Season was one to remember. Emerging young point guard Devin Harris needed to develop and Vince was unselfish and sacrificed his stats for the development of the young players. Nets management believes this was Vince's best season since joining the team. You have to look beyond the stats to see that Vince's leadership was at an elite level and he helped develop players such as Brook Lopez, Anderson, and most of all, Devin Harris. Even at 32 years of age, Vince also showed the world that he is still very capable of scoring 30-40 whenever he wants to. Vince also added a couple of gamewinners to the "clutch section" of his highlight reel. Oh and after you watch the video, you can ask yourself if he still has his hops, because the answer will be fresh in your mind.

as a nets fan, its been an honor to have vince on the team, hes been great on and off the court, i rly hope the nets can add some pieces and become contenders again, they owe VC that much, id like to see him at least reach a final with the nets
this season was one of Vince's best.. scoring wise it wasnt but he did things that never showed up in the stats sheet.. he has been a great leader for the young nets this season.. his passing was better, his d was better, heck he was an all around player this season.. i hope to see more of this Vince in the next season..
Vince is the reason why i got into basktetball, I hope he gets the credit he so rightfully deserves once he's retired..
This video just blew me away. I've followed Vince Carter since he was on the raptors, and I hate how everyone underrates him because of his age. If the Nets can get Vince Carter a small forward, he will bring them a title.
i feel u man. the reason people hate him sooo much is because they expect too much from him. they expect him to score more than 27 28 but what people dont seem to understand is he stepped down this year to help devin harris rise and become an all star because he saw it in him. and he still had nights when he scored 40 or 50 points. and people have 2 understand he is old now and to do these things at this age is pure GREATNESS!!!!

my favorite player. im happy he went to orlando.he deseves a better team. even though im from new jersey and the nets r my favorite team, he gave me some great memories at the nets game with those insane dunks and buzzer beater. he can definitely take orlando to the finals. new jersey will miss him. amazing video, it gave me chills down spine.

I love this vid. it tells how he stepped out the way to let devin harris shine and still put up 40 or 50 points some nights. people always tell me he sucks now because he didnt score more that 25 but i always say its because he let harris shine and this video tells it. VINSANITY ALL DAY!!!!!
