Getting inspiration from other artists and small businesses is great, but using their success to punish yourself is not great. You are one person doing an entire teams worth of work. If felt like you were really hard on yourself in this video but you did a great job with your launch!

These studio vlogs are good. I would do pre pre plan on the products do before the shop update just in case something goes wrong unexpectedly. You’ll have some your products done the first week then next week of the actually pre week before the actual launch day the shop update goes live. I love your style it’s so ☺️

I also love the idea of some travel stickers. Another couple of suggestions for your weekly ‘homework’ are Pokemon Go stickers and some of the cute kitties you use on screen in the videos. ❤
I think you're doing great ❤ honestly each product doesn't need a 'live' photo, just a sample photo of the paper type(s) that you can include with each product 😉

I put your videos on while I draw for commission work or even just for myself and they are so motivating to listen to. I relate a lot to your small business struggles, being someone who struggles to keep myself organized when it comes to my etsy shop updates as well. You're so real and you should honestly be super proud of yourself for how much you push yourself to improve and HAVE improved over time. Thank you soooo much for this video I learn new stuff and I think I will get Notion thought I have a actual note book to write everything. also, Yes plan a head and put a deadline to what ever you want I do this like I will put designing and drawing what I need to order from manufacture first like keychains and standees then what I can make at home like print and stickers and to make things even more organised and not having art block I switch between material from watercolors to Digital art and i put break days for me to relax and go out

But perhaps you can start adding short reels on CZcams (duplicate your instagram ones maybe) to indicate your shop update here. Just an idea and apologies if you had already considered or mentioned you’d do this. Also, I’m wondering if you would ever consider discussing in depth how you research, build connections with, and choose outsourcing companies for other needs in a future video? This part has always seemed challenging for me as someone who is looking to start a small art stationary business coming from a science background and would be super insightful. Maybe bcuz im a millennial, but sugumaru is my spirit sprout haha. I think the beauty of having a small business is how you can experiment and bcuz you sell stickers, its very versatile. Summer is coming up, and fishing is a popular hobby. Drawing things related to fishing is kind of hard to make cute to begin with, so I commend you on taking the chance. Continue experimenting and being curious, if it helps you prevent burn- out, its empowering [for you] as a business owner.

You should do acutall affirmations. Changing your mind towards launch days and alike. No matter how stupid it sounds it is true "Thought are Things" or "You are what You Think".
This really can make the biggest difference!
Instead of "it is the same all the time" you should staight correct yourself and say "this time it will be better than before" "with every launch I am gcoming closer to my goals" "I am able to manage my time more efficiently".

Hey! I don’t mind talking about my finances and stuff but I’m no accountant so giving out advice on taxes is probably not a great idea. there are lots of videos out there from accountants on small business taxes and how to manage them!

I don't know what happened. I only went to go spend $30 today on the new/old merch. Somehow I ended up spending $96 even after the discount. In all honesty I can't wait to see what the future holds. I will for sure next time be there day one next time. But 4 days afterwards is still ok

I noticed the style of your drawing brush thins and thickens as you draw. Is that pressure based or the style of the brush? Also, mind if ask what brush you are using?
I use dry brush :) and the line weight changes according to pressure for most of the default brushes on procreate
What brush are you using for the brown outline?
