Crazy Tornado Warned Severe Thunderstorm - Tucson, AZ - July 14, 2024

This footage starts after the power went out. While I was on the phone with my sister who lives on the property next door, we saw a 'blue flash' and it was when the power lines went down behind us. We never saw it but found out after the electric company came out to start the repairs 18 hours after the power went out. The thunderstorm hits Tucson at about 6:15pm local time. The storm starts out like a normal storm and then becomes something that we have seen here in Tucson. We got constant severe warnings and a tornado warning in the area. I originally thought this was a microburst, but it was much more. We spoke to a neighbor after the storm calmed and he said this type of storm has never hit here. He has lived here for 20+ years. During the video we speak of power washing and paint. We originally planned to have home painted on Monday, that has been rescheduled since when they came out, we had no water or power, and they need all of that for the painting.
I would like to thank the hard-working men and women of the TEP electric company and contractors who continuously worked to get the power back up in extreme weather conditions. There were 40 power poles knocked down throughout the city of Tucson during this storm.
