Extra tips- Be patient and be gentle. Always start at the ends and then work your way to the roots. Detangle on damp hair never on dry or soaking wet. Work in small sections

Your hair was extremely thick while you were relaxed and to see all that new growth next to those relaxed ends....Girl. I cannot wait to see you fully natural with all that hair.
Danielle Monaá im a bit nervous..cant lie lol
11 months?!? Wow. You're doing great with managing both textures. Great job.
Anna Mitchell thanks!
Girl! I am exactly one month behind you. My last relaxer was Sept 30th 2013 and I'm still goin strong. This vid is definitely a big help because I still have issues with detangling. Thank you!
Aloe vera juice is a great detangler. It's all natural, fairly cheap and calms my two textured hair! Great vid, hon!
Omg I'm too hype! I'm transitioning long term, so far 6 months in, and our textures are pretty darn close. I found a new fav channel!!! Thanks for being clear and to the point with your vids 😊 WERK GIRL!
Brittney Carr :D
I use Mane n Tail Detangler, however this Creme of Nature one is now on my BSS list. Your hair looks great and healthy!!!
New to your Chanel but so need it I'm currently transitioning 9 months post and truly all I new was to moist and seal and I keep protective styles.
will miss your relaxed hair vids. I have learned so much about healthy haircare from you. But your natural hair will be even more amazing. I couldnt even imagine your hair being even thicker. Good look doll !!!
TheShanaList thanks!
Great video and beautiful hair as usual!
I need to get some of that when I am deep in my relaxer stretch I use silken child I love it but I will try that to.
Mine is extra virgin coconut oil, I use it to prepoo and also as a sealant. But I hate the smell for some reason so I hate using it on my hair after its washed and smells yummy. I will give your detangler a try, hopefully it smells better than my coconut oil.. :(
aww i love your hair
My favorite detangler is my aloe vera juice and glycerin
We have exactly the same hair texture and thickness. My ends are always dry, can youPlease tell me how you combat dry ends? Thanks beautiful.
My hair is long to my back when straightened, but once water touches it its poofs and afro and like i can barely comb it for school, so my hairstyle is always a bun. And its thick, i mean its thick as hell, and i would like to let my hair down but its get poofy real quick. I've tried perm or something like that once but i don't want to perm my hair alot, like i've seen my friend did hers and her hair started falling out. Do you have any products or tips i can use to help keep it soft and all. I want to keep my natural hair because i like mah fro
hey! i loved this video because i have issues detangling my transitioning hair ❤
i'd like to know what is your hair type
Charlotte Chimère Diaw 4a/b
Charlotte Chimère Diaw Sis I’m thinking about getting a relaxer again... because it’s so difficult to detangle my transitioning hair… I’m trying to stay the course. This is my third time trying to go natural, I’ve never lasted longer than seven months because of all of the freaking knots!!!
Mane n' Tail Detangler or Aloe Vera Gel (food-grade AVG, such as Lily of the Desert brand)
My fine curly transitioning hair is not thicker, but more dense, so it looks thick. Thanks for sharing.
I'm visiting Toronto at the moment, downtown Toronto specifically. Do you know what Beauty supply stores are near Bloor street?
avour no i don't, sorry. Im sure if you google it ,you will find something.
Have you experienced breakage or shedding from your relax ends . Also do you have and matted you from the new growth! I need help to tame mines
Cecila Nelson in the begging yes, but not now. I just deep condition and detangle my hair properly. Check out my previous videos
do you put cold water or warm water in your spray bottle?
gentleye31 warm
I can't find the Eden detangler in Houston..:( I currently use Mane& Tail Detangler)
MizzBFlye i used to use that, its good
Can you show the whole bottle off that parlor you were using
Hi the bottle is no longer available it’s over 6 years old. It was the creme of nature straight from Eden detangler
Currently 13 months into transitioning. Idk when to cut. Maybe when it gets warm again like during spring.
TheHyperSkittlez I'll be 13 months in October 😉
hey, how do you detangle your hair between washes? i'm really struggling with that
Funmi Ogundiran i only detangle on wash day
Wow! so how do you keep your natural hair from matting?
I deep condition every wash day
Thanks! :)
Obviously there will be a difference in thickness!! Natural hair is coily so it will look like there's more of it.
My relaxed hair is so weak when it's wet
How often do you wash your hair?
Arianagirlforlife 234 twice a month. check out my regimen video
JourneyTo WaistLength thankssss. BTW Your Hair is beautiful! 😱
Arianagirlforlife 234 tnx!
