Benoît David was a far superior replacement than Jon Davison imo. He actually sounded like Anderson but with a French-Canadian accent lol. Far better than Davison’s rather whiny sounding voice in my opinion.

Damn Chris Squires vocals are actually pretty damn good
Many people don’t know how good of a singer he actually was. Just listen to Fish Out Of Water and It Can Happen (Cinema version from the 90125 deluxe edition, Chris sings lead on it).
More amazing is Chris' ability to play what he is, in perfect counterpoint to his vocal lines!! And maintain the amazing propulsive FUNK of the bass line while singing lines poly-metrically opposed!

Blows my mind that Alan White was living just a few miles from me for years and I didn't even know it. One of my all time favorite bands - I bought 90125 and Big Generator on cassette in the 80s - incredible musicians. Alan White - "Nothing you can say takes me by surprise."
