A few new items {Faller Air ship}

Not done a lot to the layout as ive been busy doing other stuff.

That looks pretty fun. It looks good flying up there. When you look up to see it, there is nothing else up there to compare scale so it looks just right and convincing.

That Faller Aktions Set was a lot of bang for the buck, as we say over here. It was less than $40 (@ £35), which is usually the cost of one Faller model building. I love the LED lights, so I will look into them. The downside of the blimp is you are stuck with that plastic gray color, or you re-apply the logo. Love the Mozart loco. That was one which did play music, right? Great video! 🤟

I could micro cut mask over the Good Year logo and re spray the plastic or spray a tinted lacquer over the top but to be honest it looks fine as it is as its up out the way..
The Mozart loco is not the dcc music version but it has a lok sound 4 which can be programmed to play the music.
The other 73526 Josef Haydn Taurus loco is a factory dcc Music edition from Roco which are rare to find now....

You did a great job of that mill and blast furnace.Ive gone back too british rolling stock and redone my layout but i still have my two goliaths on it pulled by a class 58,unrealistick i know but it looks good.

Thanks...yeah just run it how you want ...I run all sorts of stock and if it looks out of place or unrealistic I dont care as its all about enjoying the hobby..
Those cranes are superb items...they will never loose there rrp...

Interesting item Jim. We once saw the real Good Year Blimp at night in the distance, all lit up. None of us in the car could see it properly and it looked like a UFO. I dropped the family off home and drove nearer to investigate. None of them would come with me lol. But it went so low I never did find out that night. The next day there were loads of UFO reports and this was what it was lol.

Thanks....yeah I sold the mill and the blast furnace as it was just too big for the layout and abanded extention etc....I kept all the steel mill and furnace wagons thow ...maybe for a future project.......Jim
