Xbox got it better. If you play Goldeneye on gamepass or own Rare Replay you'll get the unreleased remastered Xbox Live version with full 4k120 along with improved textures and models (Optional), and better controls.

@@Dzuno18 The tug of war game should probably be a bit easier on the hands now because the joysticks on the Joycon and Pro Controller are rubberized. Although it's recommended to use the thumb like what the warning on Mario Party Superstars said
All three Mario Parties, Pokemon Stadium 1+2, and Goldeneye (with online play) being added made me pop. I think Nintendo finally gave me a reason to get the Expansion Pack.

I'm assuming you mean "GoldenEye 007" but it's not Microsoft who is or isn't allowing Goldeneye 007. Nintendo owns the original N64 game. The same reason why Nintendo had no problems putting DKC on the SNES mini. Now, a remake is a whole other story.

@@skullerclawerbandicoot7966 I'm mostly hyped for the nostalgia but also the mini-games were so fun. I probably put more time into those than anything else. Back in the days it was huge because it even let you play your gameboy pokemon games on the n64. Can't forget about the battle animations and how the emotion put into attacks and the pokemon are better than it is today lol. Just seeing kabutops use Double Kick by jamming his blades into the ground to stabilize itself into a drop kick made me still want to use it regardless of resistance, even on Ghost type pokemon haha.

Although I’m happy that Excitebike 64 will be available on August 30th, it doesn’t change the fact that Nintendo is still being too slow with adding new games to the Nintendo Switch Online’s retro libraries.
2024 needs to be the year when a lot more games (especially the Nintendo 64 games) will come to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
consider that in Japan is released a 18+ app with Goldeneye and Jet Force, so I think Conker and Perfect Dark can be put in the app (and other Rare titles of course, I think 2024 will be a Rare year talking about arcade titles)

@@user-cf6op8gv2v I feel like Nintendo wanted to release a Mario Party game per year and Mario Party 1 was intended to be in 2021, but it was pushed back to 2022 and released with MP2. Mario Party 3 was always intended to be released late 2023 though.

A solid lineup for this wave. Slightly disappointed of no Diddy Kong Racing or Smash 64 but Stadiums the Mario Parties Excitebike 1080 and Pilotwings good enough on their own. Hopefully the other two get added down the line since Goldeneye is now being the second Rare game added after Banjo-Kazooie and opens the possibility of their sequel being added down the line
I must admit... they can't and honestly shouldn't release all the best in one sitting. It'd be too much too fast and then... nothing to follow with. Give it time. Nintendo is playing the long game here and man o MAN is it paying off.

The 2 Mario Parties were released in November and all we have gotten in the 7 and a half months since is GoldenEye and Pokémon Stadium

I had access to a top tier PC with cable internet in 1997 but Goldeneye was still so amazing I couldn't put it down until I had completely beaten every aspect of it. Looking forward to seeing if I still got it :D

I’ve watched this over 100 times and i still can’t believe it, I’m so excited for goldeneye finally
So awesome. So nice to be able to play these retro games on the Switch and elsewhere. I still have the cartridges of the Mario Party games along with the Pokemon Stadium games including the transfer paks. Those days were awesome and it's nice to be able to relive all this. Whoo! Still buy the cartridge games and won't get rid of them anytime soon. Would still love to see Tetris Attack added to the Super Nintendo side by side with Panel De Pon and Pokemon Puzzle League. So awesome to see all this retro greatness and still going to be cartridges and all that other retro game stuff. So nice, so fun.
Seeing both Pokémon stadiums games gives me hope that whenever Nintendo does GameCube games next, they’ll hopefully add Gale of Darkness and Colosseum.
I need to get those games back for the Gamecube. Still holding on and going to play those awesome game systems. Glad one can still get them via online or store. Awesome items that will live on.

In "Pokémon Stadium", it seems to be a system where Game Boy Pokémon are brought in and battled. How do you battle? Are Pokemon given by default there?

While I do hate the Expansion Pack thing as much as everyone else, you can't deny the lineup here is the *BEST* yet and is slowly-but-surely making the Expansion Pack price feel more justified.
Still though, I prefer if they *didn't* do that Expansion Pack nonsense and kept everything under a single membership style.
