  • This video is kinda long but I have had requests to do a detailed video on how to build a Crossbow Rack and also build a Bow Rack. So in this video I build both at the same time to show the difference. This is a very unique rack and really looks good once you get the arrows in it and hang it on the wall. This build “other than time” is a cheap project to do. It only take a couple of dowel rods and a small piece of 1/4 inch plywood. Thanks for watching!

    I’m about to go to Lowe’s right now. Just made some notes for the build.

    That is a great project, I have been trying to figure out how to mount my bows to look like a wall art and that works great. Thank you for posting that video keep up the good work...👍

    Nice job. Smart idea to make that template so you’ll be ready to make more the next time. Looks great!

    The 2 long board cut at 25 and 26 1/2 inch then cut a 39 degree at the end of each of those boards?

    I really like this design. I built two but modified it more from your original design. If you're interested I could send you pics if you want

    I'm building one very similiar to 18 arrows. Maybe you can help me with a tip: How did you managed to set the bolts on the correct angles?

    Do you know where I can find any stencils of a buck that would perfectly fit this build?

    These are so nice! Are they available for purchase? Would it be possible to do a single rack to accommodate 1 crossbow and 1 compound bow with a combo quiver to hold both bolts and arrows?
    Really hope this gets a response, just realized this was posted 4 years ago.

      daniel toburen All I do is measure the thickness and divide by 2 to find the center. There is an easier way tho. If you go on amazon.com search wood centering tool, you will see options for finding center on square lumber and circles. They aren’t that expensive and could help you a lot.

      ok thank you for the info and im going to try it on my next build also i like the way you built the bowrack and i tryed to do it with oak but it didn't turn out very well so i use a whitewood and it looks a lot better

    Simple and practical. Question how do you establish the initial width of the base triangle?

    • @PoposWoodworks
      @PoposWoodworks  Před 6 lety

      Cindy Peterson I measured the length of the bow, or where I wanted the to points of contact where it would hang. Then I placed 2 2x4’s on the table and made the triangle. Once I got the distance of how wide it needed to be, I marked it with a pencil and cut the rest off. “You can lay the 2x4’s out and set the bow on top of them to make sure you have the right distance or angle”.

    I checked a lot of handbooks with woodworking plans. Instructions from woodprix are the best I think.

    It's good to see Woodprix have new instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
