    Raging blast 2, it had a very good soundtrack to with some of its music being used as background music in content creators videos such as rhymestyle and although it didn’t have a story mode it had various game modes such as the classic world tournament the fell games and a unique “Galaxy mode for each individual character which allowed you to unlock costumes and super attacks for the various characters. And speaking of it had a a decently sized characters clocking in at a whopping over 90 characters. Now I know that’s nothing compared to the budokai tenkaichi roster it wasn’t lacking when it came to what each character brought to the table with more than 7 super attacks for each character and a set of beautifully constructed models and a set of 14 amazing stages to fight and on and o I don’t even have to mention how well the actual graphics have held up for a game made in 2010

    The most underrated Dragonball game is DB Advanced Adventure. It takes you from episode 1 of Dragonball all the way to defeating King Piccolo. It’s normally a side scrolling brawler but during the world tournaments it turns into a more traditional fighting game. Incredibly fun game.

  • @notecard838
    @notecard838 Před 2 lety +63

    I think Tenkaichi 3 has more content, but Tenkaichi 2 has insanely good music, a better story mode (especially having that flying around thing from Budokai 3 and the what-ifs that are surprisingly well written), and also really cool way of unlocking characters. Kind of hard to pick which I like more

    • @SimonBlueBerry
      @SimonBlueBerry Před 2 lety +6

      2 is hardcarried by the customization alone
      It was so degenerate and you could turn the most worthless characters into absolute behemoths

    When it comes to underrated DB games, it's Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans
    An RPG made by MONOLITH SOFT of all developers (The Xenoblade people for those who don't know).
    It's absolutely wonderful. It's kind of a run of the mill RPG, but what keeps it up for me is the spritework and art/animations, as well as how seamlessly RPG mechanics integrate into the iconic forms and techniques. The battles are fun, and it shines light on the more underdog characters and making your party of the Z-Fighters really feel like a proper unit. If this game ever got the following arcs as sequels, I honestly think we would've had a Legacy of Goku-tier series of RPGs if they were ever made. I hope some day the Namek Saga sequel that was teased would actually be released some day. Even if it's very unlikely now.

But I could never find B3 and I had B1(still do to this day)/B2 on the GameCube. And I only got BT3 later after Infinite World. I could just never find most of the other games. And then once I got my 360, I completely forgot about Burst Limit... Which I kind of regret. Only played RB1. Never really wanted RB2.

    Despite being a Kirby fan, it's Sonic heroes on PS2.
    Yes frame drops, voice clip cuts, and my copy can freeze in between load times and can never play frog forest or lost jungle ost, so when I heard frog forest on Sonic heroes GC on emulation I got goosebumps, but damn I love that game. From preschool to middle school after being a victim of bullying and trying to avoid people cause I view them as threats, to being dumped on Valentine's day, that game was always there for me. Because of that version of the game, I learned to be more forgiving when it comes to load times. I'll always say that the game is ment for me. So much so I had almost 900 hours on that game.

    As a kid my mom loved shopping at Goodwill looking at all the little trinkets.
    For at least 3 years (maybe I'm exaggerating I don't know) I would walk by the video games and there was always a giant stack of Infinite World copies for like $1 a piece. I never bought one because in my mind the game had to of sucked if there were so many so cheap.

    The most underrated Dragon Ball game to me is Super Dragon Ball Z, its a Street Fighter-esque arena fighter on the PS2. It's a huge blast to play, I got a hold of it through emulation and was able to play it with some friends and we all enjoyed it.

    DBZ Legacy of Goku. The second one specifically. That's a super underrated title imo. Those of us that played it know how awesome it is, but I find when I ask people that no one has even heard of it, and if they have, they've never played it.

    My childhood game was smash, played it on the Wii when I was like 9, then smash 4 was announced and I went to work with my dad, he'd pay me for helping him. Till I had enough money to buy the game. Took like 2 months of working on weekends, getting up early asf, taking trains. But the hustle was real asf for me.

    Super Mario World and Star Fox was my childhood, and later on Pokemon Sapphire. I probably played through those games dozens of times each and spent 1000+ hours on each.
    Most underrated Dragon Ball game is Attack of the Saiyans, really fun JRPG with a combat system similar to the Mario RPG games and decent story and music. Also Emperor Pilaf and the King Piccolo fight!!

    For me, Advance Adventure is underrated. Mostly because I don't hear many people talk about it. I personally loved it because it made me feel like I was actually going on that same adventure as dragon ball and recreated that same feeling I had when watching it. Also it was kinda cool for the time to make it a multiplayer game. They didn't have to do that since it is mostly a game you'd think to be single player.
