Don't you find it absolutely mind-boggling that all this is in fact based on real events?! And the movie is quite terrific, I just loved it! To whoever uploaded it for us to enjoy it, thank you very, very, very much!
You are immediately captured by the 1960s atmosphere when you watch this film - not least because of the wonderful accompanying music by Guy Farley, which reminded me of early James Bond films. Ray Winstone is also just perfect as the archétype of a sly shady person.
… in deed a Bondish feel together with the intro graphics - cool
The opening scene, the desk the secretary
is sitting at, I had the same Olivetti adding
machine on my desk at work, 1971 - 1987.
Well worth the watch. Acting is about suspension of disbelief and this romp had me totally hooked. Loved it.
What a 'Romp' loved this film featuring 'Ray Winston' all actor's were good and great to see 'Derren Nesbitt'!!!
why the quotes on names? Are they not real to you?
'blue bee'
Seeing Ray being so domestic just warms my heart for some reason.
Poms seem to go head and shoulder above the yanks in movies
Seems to be warmer outside than inside. Good movie ❤
I just loved it any film with Ray is great 👍
Brilliant,top actors!
Make my day.
Chilling in my room let's see what happens 😌 😮😮😮❤ never seen it ...
Excellent film - thanks for making it available.
Just dawned on me, Danny, is played by the same actor who played the facially disfigured sniper in, Boardwalk Empire.
A fine actor.
brilliant thats what i thought
I thought he looked familiar.
@@annikkianttila Jack Huston, to give the guy the dignity of a name, and ye, I googled (sorry Jack)😌😆
An absolute stellar performance in Boardwalk Empire in a very demanding role.👍👏
@@center__mass just rewatching, The Irishman, on Netflix and realised Jack plays Bobby Kennedy!
Ray got it all from Arthur Daley ...
Good watch, really enjoyed it thanks for the upload team.
Love the opening and the music! Whizzed back in time 🙂
Most enjoyable movie to watch cheers Perth Western Australia
GOOD MOVIE. OLD SCHOOL.... BUT WORTH THE TIME. ⭐⭐⭐✔
Reminds me 90' in East Europe when USSR pulled out their Forces. Those days "everyone" was offering plutonium and red mercury. These opportunist " business man" (😂😂😂😂) even in this movie are fools, who should sell real potatos. 😂😂😂😂
Colm Meaney? OK! I shall watch this!
Bravo chaps - well cast. I'm in my middling fifties, and that's the fist time I've seen a saloon version of that _van_ which appeared to span decades of trades-peoples work. Last time I saw one was maybe 30 years ago, when driven by a pair of old dears, it shat itself right in the middle of a Sheffield intersection. Real Biden campaign number - I wonder what does that; is it the gearbox exploding or a conrod breaking? What is it that makes old wrecks blow their guts like that?
The car is a Vauxhall " Viva " - the van version is A Bedford H A - Bedford was the " commercial " side Of Vauxhall Motors
@@philbunston9663 I owned a Thames (Br-r-ritisch Ford) van around 1973 in Melbourne , Australia . It got me to the Mulwala Festival where I remember remember (1) Lobby Loyde (2) Manassas (3) Canned Heat 🧡❤ 🛸 ❤🧡
Worth the watch
A excellent movie. Worth the time watching🎉
Nice little movie. Nice music too.
'The Hot Potato' (2011) Version.
Good Movie but I wish Colm Meaney had been more active in this film. ;-)
FINE OLD SCHOOL MOVIE. WORTH WATCHING. 🌟🌟🌟✔
I really enjoyed the movie and certainly funny.
Many thanks to this channel, I've really enjoyed the movie
Kind of like the FOUR stooges trying to sell something to 40 other stooges!! Fuckups around every corner😂😂😂 Still, quite an enjoyable movie, thanks guys!!
Awesome gezza movie. Love the Brit crims - black humour.
I love the scene when they couldn't remember where they'd buried uranium in the field..😅 53:02
The Brits were especially good at making these types of movies.
No one gets hurt the rougues end up with a little profit.
Aussie Jeff Moore
Exactly....It's a gentle, yet convoluted, comedy caper.
Seems there are more people suffering from ADHD than was thought. How sad.
Entertaining
Very entertaining and worth watching
Superb upload! Thank you man. Please more British movies they are just perfect.
Watching from The Republic of Kenya, East Africa 🌍
Come to Australia 🇦🇺
Really good comedy, i like it!
Great movie!
Love it, from Sweden.
Good to see Nick the Greek got himself a job as the twins henchman 😂
What a load of old pony...loved every minute of it😁
Havent heard of this one. Worth a go...
Thanks so much for posting
Alright - favourite Mrs Peel folks? I'll stick my neck out with Honor Blackman - I once sold an expensive pair of reading glasses by pointing out that I viewed this ravenous creature as Honor Blackman, whereas her daughter clearly saw "mum".

piece .. of pie. Not peace.
@@BlueBeeMCMLXI Quite right Sir, although I'll mitigate my literary transgression with the sheer quantity of alcohol and weed (legal where I live) consumed prior to my contribution 😛
@@jamesportrais3946 Piece man .
Wikipedia says
⚡ ⚡ " . . . . a throwback to the crime caper films that were popular in the 1960s . . . . "
The peculiar fashions worn by Lois Winstone really did exist in that decade ~ wierd❗👍
Quite nice ❤❤❤
A nice little farce, thanks
Does anyone know the title and performers of the last song, the one on the credits?
Good old Pommie movie. 👍4/5
Thanks for the movie! Fun stuff :)
Not terrible
Funny and very entertaining.
59:55 Wot the 'ell is a Vauxhall Viva doing in Rome? It was never driven there....that's for sure!
Why not❓❓
Carol was awesome
Not bad.
Opening theme. Bond and pink panther
Sigh, unfortunately I'm not able to understand most of it. Not because English isn't my native language but because of the dialect/slang. The automatic subtitle function is also not able to translate.
That's a pity because they used slang I haven't heard for donkey's years.
Fritz speaks with a caricaturish German accent, except for his w's, which are pronounced as in perfect English. Vonder vy?
wet british dream --to sell something inessential!!!LOL
Didn't understand half of the accented English.
Incomplete movie... ending chopped off.
Omg you’re comments sad😊
Who's the daddy??
❤❤❤❤❤❤
50/50 🧐😒
Anticlimax galore.
💚🙏🏿💚
Fritz the old jewboy loses the lot.
Better off going to the Dentist than watching this.
I lasted 9 minutes. The acting was dreadful.
Do you have much experience with England in 1969?
@@zenmanokfine I was 11, if that's ok
@@tyrotrainer765 Was just an honest question :)
@@zenmanokfine gotcha!
@@tyrotrainer765 Still are, by the sounds of it.
Not enough CGI for you?....More explosions and impossible car chases needed?
That ADHD is everywhere these days..... Social Media to blame.? Oh Dear. Aw. Bless.

Ray Winstone must be mad…. This is a rubbish film !!
this was a freaking dumb movie
boring unrealistic crap
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
Nice😂
Mornin Carol....much occurring....? Ang on...💪😎🍺🇳🇿 ello...!
