    Thank you so much for this informative video. It really saved me a lot of time - and money, thanks to your tip on sourcing the clips from an eBay seller instead of the dealer.

    Is it necessary or recomendable to disconnect the battery while disassembling?

  • @mickeydee9834
    @mickeydee9834 Před rokem +1

    To ease the installation of the carriers you might want to move the "tabs" on the cable up in the frame a bit by raising the window an inch or two. Obviously the window won't move but the carrier tabs will move away from the wheel at the bottom of the frame. Trust me it will make sense when you attempt to attach the carriers.

      @bfreehill Před rokem +1

      was going to suggest the same thing, even an inch helps a ton.

    • @GarageBoys
      @GarageBoys  Před 5 lety +1

      Not sure, you can call the dealer and ask for your part number and see if it matches this one or you can remove yours and compare it to the one I have on the video.

    Lol..u went on eBay. U definitely get wet u pay for. Those aren't going to last, we can see the extreme low quality of the plastic mould when you show it in video. I've been replacing these for many years, I ***ONLY***use the expensive dealer ones. There's none better
