The Drum Hang - Quickie 4 Brian Blade

In Quickie 4 we work on a short Brian Blade fill that is challenging because of the independence it takes to play the dynamic shape. Brian Blade is definitely one of my favourite drummers, great lesson Chris. Personally wish Brian was a bit more open to sharing his wisdom behind the kit, he doesn't do any teaching I believe. I can respect it at the same time though, he clearly just loves to play and perform. I'd love to know some of the stuff he actually practices, it kinda fascinates me.
