Silver Grappa :) my father made grappa with his dad back during the prohibition in iron mountain. A bottle was forgotten in the house they made it in.
He brought it back to Austin with him -it'd been there for 60 years (in the house). I tried it maybe last month. Very nice. About as smooth as this mix whOOooaaaAaaaaa (true story tho)

yes! the machinedrum is running the unofficial X.05 firmware. Its crazy with the MegaCommand but i have yet to do a set on that :)

would you say that LXR covers similar ground as MD tone wise? or is it better to save up for "the real thing"?

I have never played a MD, but I love my LXR02. Amazing machine. Definitely takes a lot of cues from Elektron with the playability and sequencing.

Lxr is a nice drum machine. But machinedrum has a different tone to lxr. They are both nice and compliment each other, not replacing :)
