    I think that duelist and “entrier”s should be separate role, and raze and Jett and neon could be made better at entrying but worse at dueling. Then just force 1 of each role per team.

      i agree with your first point , duelists should be split up into duelists and entries, or some other name that makes sure you know you have to entry on that agent, but you cant introduce role queue into valorant seeing as the queue times for people that pick duelists or any popular class would be above the 10 minutes .

      No matter what Riot decides to do, forcing roles is definitely not healthy for the game, even though it might seem like it. There’s much more flexibility in terms of team comps in Valorant.

      Yeah I totally agree because they can enter faster than other agents and basically nerf a bit their damage and add movement speed

    i think with sage if u can somehow can control how many like wall segments u can place like imagine if u can only place one wall segment and place the other three at different places that would be nice like u can block off garage on haven and b

    When it comes to sentinels somehow everyone is dumb, they aren’t going to get changed because they each serve a different purpose, killjoy for site denial, cypher for map wide info, chamber is the best for map control, deadlock is the perfect sentinel to lock down a site for the post plant, and somehow no one realizes that sage is perfect for assisting the team with util

      That’s because sage and deadlock do a much worse job at assisting the team when your flank isn’t being watched or you don’t have a piece of utility to passively hold a part of the map so you can invest more players elsewhere. There’s a reason as to why they’re considered much weaker compared to the other 3 and are usually only ever used in a double sentinel comp

      @@im_happily_sadd3730exactly right. I think chamber could use some buffs to put him on the same lines and kj and cypher but deadlock needs a complete overhaul. If they keep buffing her she will just become insanely annoying but never in a good spot.

      Infinite range on his trips, yes. More op shots, no. His op is meant to be a stalling utility by getting kills and not as a busted operator 2.0

    More map variants for diverse smoking would be great, but I hope Riot also just straight up strengthen Harbor's signature slow abilities, curvable walls or something before introducing another line smoker

    I would really like to see a duelist with a targeted leap like Thor in Smite(I don't play smite I just know he does that) maybe enter a map screen and pick a location and on landing it'll concuss in a cone in front of them. make it a short leap and require another agent to disrupt for them so it doesn't have to be an ult.

    The dive meta has got to go. Game feels so stale. The reason why dualists suck is soley because of raze and Jett. Dualist should have get of jail cards like a daze or satchel but shouldn’t be able to take space super quick. My insanity take is to remove the ability for jett to combo updraft then dash and maybe also remove her passive gliding ability. (No other agents get a passive so why is she the only agent that had one). Not to sure how they could fix raze other than either making it so the satchel cant yeet you 10 to 15 meters and more like 5 meter or completely rework that ability. The problem is see with these changes is the map pool. Damn near every map you need a line controller. They hard core nerfed viper and harbor is dog shit because he cant cover as much and i feel like his wall is clunky and hard to make sure you are pin point accurate. Also there is very little consequence for swinging threw a harbor wall. A 2 second slow is dogshit. My idea for Viper is to just make it so you can pick up her wall or maybe reduce the fuel consumption time. With harbor give him an ipad or something where you can literally draw up the wall and his cascades then activate the wall whenever you choose with a button press and also add more of a negative downside for enemies that swing threw the wall. I think the main thing causing all these issues is the maps in the pool. Everything feels so long sightline gunfights right now.

      I agree that some duelists should have getaway and not use that mobility to create space very quickly. But removing Jett’s passive is not fair as her wind like abilities are part of her identity. Also she’s not the only agent that has a passive, Reyna’s soul orbs spawn counts as a passive, gekko being able to pick back up his abilities is also one, viper and neon’s recharge on their abilities are technically passives, fades trails she creates from haunt and ult is technically a passive, phoenix’s heal is also a passive. The reason people don’t bring up the other passives is either because they’re not seen as passives for whatever reason or passives like gekko’s and phoenix are REALLY under appreciated and no one gives enough recognition to those passives even if it offers very little

      @@murrkie6928 yea mobility is a problem, but removing Jett’s passive should not be removed, it’s part of her radiant like ability and it’s nothing like a omen tp, plus it’s riot’s fault for not making omen’s tp sound louder

    The only I see sage being fixed (not counting her heal) is 1 a cheaper res or res rework like clove (in the sense its like a reyna dismiss for 2 seconds to get safety) second would be to rework the slow orbs since they are just a complete waste of credits, and then 3 (MY OPINION) give her 2 walls but mKe them 600-800 credits each that way shes balanced in the sense her economic value can be easily diminished by wasting walls and also allows her to hold more then 1 point

    personally i think a meta ruins a good game because it will always be the same agents on the same maps and no chance for creativity for the other "non-meta" agents

    Id be worried Abt what you talked Abt the end, with a meta the changes often. Look at clash Royale. The meta completely changes every month or less, and it is very hard to enjoy

    i agree with creating more wall smokers, but map design should make it possible to play a dome smoker or a wall smoker, BUT wall smokers should still be better on some maps.
    Viper has a really unique problem with how much she's picked, because any further nerfs and she'll be too weak to play and any buffs and she's to strong to play. She also doesnt feel any competion from any other smoker since she's a controller/sentinel hybrid wall smoker, she can have global smokes, and she just has a far to great stopping power. you'll probably have to change her abilities so they arent global anymore , i think it would be best that you would have to be within a certain range to activate your smokes. and also to introduce a new controller sentinel hybrid with wall smokes, maybe also buffing the slow on harbor wall, and removing the slow for teammates (seriously rito why is this still in the game?). And harbor doesnt need another controller, just as omen doesnt need another controller to be viable. harbor does have stall, only the stall is taking neutral space on defense and forcing enemies to use util and time to take it back. this part is the most misunderstood by the valorant community, because harbor doesnt have weak stall, he just has non-traditional stall. i think that if the community can get past that mental roadblock, they'll see harbor as a b-tier agent. same for chamber, he is the stall, a good chamber forces enemies to play slow to find out where he is, if they dont they get punished for it. i hope riot makes more of these kinds of agents that dont fit the traditional standards placed upon their class

      He doesn’t have as much reusable smokes as viper, cove doesn’t last long, it and cascade aren’t rechargeable while high tide doesn’t recharge as fast as vipers toxins, he’s also a worse sight anchor since he has no mollies and nothing like poison orb

      No punishment for swinging threw the wall and to me it feels clunky and inconsistent. Ive been using him on abyss and he is very strong for mid but it is hard to be precise every time.

    I think that there might be a third way of fixing Duelist, and that is to rework certain abilities on the agents that struggle to push sites. Agents like Yoru, Reyna, Iso, rework some abilities so that they can get onto sites.
    Maybe make it so Yoru's Gate Crash can be held and controlled where it's moving forward similar to Harbor's High Tide (nerf the time he has to teleport on the left click to balance it, right click will remain the same).
    Maybe make Iso's Contingency the same way, or just make it bigger so he has more room to play with, both work honestly.
