Not good, if you have to stand in line and go through your phone, you might as well pay with your debit or credit card. I like sam's club better. I never have to stand in line in sam's club. All i do is find the item that i want and scan them with my phone using the sam's club scan and go app and pay for it with the app since my card information is already saved and it then show a receipt that i can show when i walk out. I just downloaded the walmart app and now i'm going to delete it. it not even worth it. As i walk around sams club and scan my items, it give me the total and when i'm done. i just click pay and it pays it from my card that is stored on the app. Just my 2 cents.

No, not at all. You could scan all your items first before you open the Walmart app. And you don’t have to press anything at the terminal (check-out) either. Once I get there, I just scan.

In most Wal-Mart stores, they scan paper receipts at the exit to make sure you bought the items. Since you use the app, no paper receipt is generated only electronically (see the end of video). So, we us the barcode on the phone.

No, you cannot use cash using walmart pay. Your payment info (credit cards, gift cards, ebt) are saved within the app and the transaction is processed through the app using your saved cards info. The walmart pay option can be convenient (although a 'scan and go' option would be better) but still make sure you have your cards (or cash) on you, just case. Sometimes the app or register can be glitchy and the transaction won't go through. :)
Scan N Go at Sam's Club is 1000 times easier. You just scan with your phone, hit pay, and show the phone to the door checkout person. It's the same company ! Why do they make the Walmart version so complicated ?????????????????

If it’s just $20 Visa Gift card, there’s an activation fee of only $2.95-and you can’t get back the fee. How come it’s 5.94? $5.95 activation fee is for a $250-349.99 card-and again you can’t get that back. Are you sure you bought a $20 card?

I’m sure for a year is worth it-if you shop there often. You could always switch the card after that.

I know. If you’re curious, before the pandemic, each bag was 10 cents. When the pandemic hit, it was free for a couple of months. But now, today, they are back to 10 cents here in SoCal. :(

Dude what the actual hell was the point of making this Walmart pay??? I might as well use my fuckin debit card this is slow as hell. I came here to watch the video to see how easy it was. But reality it isn't.... Its not how I imagined it to be. My assumption was you scan each item and pay in advance tht way you could just walk out.
I understand. But the app has that option to pay. And people are curious about it (see number of views).

I totally understand. You might want to think it this way, at least you don’t have to touch cash, bills, coins-you don’t know where they’ve been. And especially what’s going on today in the world.

A few months ago I went to a fast-food drive-thru. and since iPhone is already on dashboard instead of releasing my seat belt and reaching for my wallet... I decide to pay mobile. Till she asks me for my device! I had a smirk on my face like... Hell nooo!!!
