Honestly though, I heard that there was even conflicting evidence on the negative effects of bluelight. Sufficed to say that it's not that unhealthy and you prob shouldn't go out of your way to buy new glasses for this if you already have a working pair.

Bluelight isn't some deadly side effect of computer screens that are made to hurt you, like how these brands show them, it's just a light that *can* hurt your eyes if you aren't taking the proper precautions and what not. However, someone like Gregor, who literally plays computer games for a job, would probably need some of these, as he plays games for hours, then edits and chills out, and has a fucked up sleep schedule because of computers in general. I have a fucked up sleep schedule because of my phone and computer and I think most people do. It all depends on how much you rely on tech.

I've also seen other options, my monitor (and a lot of others) has blue-light filtering built in and there are also programs like f.lux that just put a yellow layer over your screen (digitally of course). The former of which is a better approach imo. I also see the possible need for blue-light filtering if you're someone who regularly spends a whole lot of time before a monitor but there are other options and I just didn't like how the ad was left vague (and kind of misleading) in it's way of saying 'bad' and 'unhealthy'.

@@jamesreedmoretz As someone who has mained him religiously for the last 5 years, I absolutely needed this rework as he has gotten incredibly stale over that time. The meme wasn't even funny anymore and people just kept trying to push it. It's a shame he had to lose the sasg-12 because it was one of my favourite shotguns in the game, but, handheld lmg. (There is going to be an arcade mode in the future where you can use his old loadout and mounted lmg however, so you can look forward to that).

I like how Tachanka gets the most badass weapons and takes all the credit while Mira oversees LITERALLY every operator gadget
She oversees research and development, which doesnt include weapons. She probably helped tachanka get his LMG off its stand, but nothing more with weapons.
It's also up to operators to know what they want as a gadget (Ianas hologram was already made, for example) and RnD only helped Iana make it better. He probably had a plan for what he wanted, and talked to goyo and the others who worked on his gadget about his launcher.

I tried to stop him when he stubled to the welding table we for some reason let just him build but then he smashed another bottle and tried to stab me with it as he shout sung katusha in my face.

After that I grabbed the bag and ran but not before he threw a handfull of bullets at me. One of the fuckers even went off!”

The only bad thing is that you're losing soft destruction and making rotations. I just like the SMG more because it feels nicer than some clunky lmg that Frost can out shoot

@Jeremy Saul Its, not. For reasons unknown, some people in the west like to call it the DP-28 because it entered service in 1928, but its actual designation is DP-27, mostly just called the DP by Russians.

If you've ever actually used a mosin nagant, you'll know few things work as poorly as 7.62 x 54R stripper clips. (Ask the SVT-40).
As for the "semi auto" it makes no sense but I suppose it could just be a double action cycling on the grenades like a Stryker/streetsweeper shotgun drum, but the blank rounds and internal mosin magazine makes no sense at all.
It doesn't even eject the casings.
@@kobeh6185 This gun is a real thing called a Kulakov automatic grenade launcher. Yeah, the semi-auto isn't realistic, that was implemented for balance reasons. It does actually eject the bullet casings, just they fly incredibly fast so you almost never will see them + the bolt doesn't get cycled as you'd usually see so it's all a mess. The drum mag functions as follows: The cylinder rotates automatically; after firing a shot, expanding gases are trapped in a chamber around the muzzle, forcing the barrel to move forwards, breaking the obturation of the rifle chamber, cylinder, and launcher barrel, and forcing the cylinder to rotate. A recoil spring would then force the barrel back. But anywho, as for the blank rounds, they're used as primers to launch the grenades.

In case anyone cares: Tachanka’s Grenade Launcher seems to have been inspired by the Kulakov Grenade Launcher; an experimental 1940’s weapon built from a Mosin-Nagant that was ultimately rejected for being too heavy.
Though I’m pretty sure the real thing was still a bolt-action, not semi-auto like the one in Siege.
I get where your coming from, there are definitely inaccuracies with it such as 7 rounds in the mosins 5 round internal magazine and how he's able to magically fire 7 rounds without touching the action once
But it is just a videogame and it would be a pretty rough ability if the action did need to be cycled
Tachanka is so good right now, I hope they’re not going to change him again because he is really fun to play also good for rotations. And killing.

Actually got my first ace with reworked chanka. The DinnerPlate 1927 feels like it does more damage than it actually does.

rogue 9 did some testing and as long as you hit all your shots the dp27 actually has a faster bodyshot ttk than the 9x19 smg. I can only see the 9x19 being used if a pro league team doesn't need the utility of the dp27, as rate of fire is the only thing that matters when you only hit headshots.

@@choppercove because there's less blue, so your eyes pick up more of the other lights, it looks more orange/yellow for the first like 5 minutes (to me) but looks normal afterwards

Yeah that’s what I do. Apple has a night mode on their phones, not so sure about android though, although I doubt that they would not have it, seeing as their phones have a lot of features.

Just a little note: The grenades themselves do damage when they hit someone besides the fire. I've just done it on TH but I've killed white masks with two grenades to the body there.

Well the Dshk is old as ww2 but I don't want to face a Russian God shooting me with 50 cal level bullets through hard reinforced wall or dome me through 3 floors of clubhouse. It would be a terrifying experience. Because as they say :308 may ripp a chunk off your body away but 50 cal vaporizes whatever it touches.

I think they should make his dp-27 do 52 damage, so at close range he can 2 shot 3 speeds, but everybody else would still be 3 shots. It might give him a little advantage without being op

How to main gun: Holding down the trigger, aim at a window/door barricade that has recently been broken by ATK, when they peek... Instant death. (for an additional trick, bait the peek by pausing halfway then continue firing.)

Bluelight has not been proven to have any negative effects, afaik. A lot of eyedoctors doesn't really recommend them, but placebo is a real thing
i think the round in the mosin is the primer for the grenade - because actual grenade launchers arent cool enough for tachanka

The one thing chanka needed was more mobility. As many have said a mounted turret in a game like siege doesnt work... but does a inferno tf2 demo man fit the game either?
I think they should of kept chanka similar (would also keep the meme factor of using him) and instead make it so when you activate his ability you pull out the DP to use like the primary it is now, once out you can shoot it, or mount it with a bipod on low cover, deployable shields, the floor when prone and maybe even windows (dont know how balanced windows would be).
I also dont know about his old shield, maybe once mounted you could attach the shield that would then stop the gun from being unmounted and used as a primary untill the shield is broken or removed.
Basically i think he should of stayed as a mounted turret kind of operator and in 'competitive play' be used as a kind of area denial op due to supressing or continued fire at the angles his enemy would peak, the one thing they needed to change was his mobility and the fact you couldnt place the turret basically anywhere near cover or honestly anywhere near anything else so most the time you would be unprotected and smack bang in the middle of a corridoor or room, which i think the mounting would of overcome. I mean imagine walking around a corner to see tachankas at the end of a corridoor with his head poking over the top of a deployable shield and a massive fucking gun pointed straight at you.
Any other non ironic or ironic chanka mains have any idea on how this rework could of been done?

No one will probably agree with me and this comment wont get noticed but i wish you were able to choose between using the gun handheld or as a turret because i use to love playing the turret because im not one to take action im more of someone who will sit and wait because the turret isnt that bad to use.

So I would like to point out a pair of small details that I’m sure would delight glaz quite a bit.
First, the lesser one that the lmg technically has a higher ttk than the smg. Does that matter much? Not really it’s only slightly on 2 and 3 armours and headshots are still a thing so yeah.
Second, the dp27 does 49 damage. So no matter what, it will take 3 shots to take any op down...
If they aren’t wounded.
If they’re lit up at all, it suddenly goes down to 2 shots, so that would greatly increase his ttk, given how slow the gun fires, plus he has the tools for it in his grenades.
Does that matter much? Idk maybe maybe not. Just a thing I’ve been thinking about
Both of his guns are good, and its a matter of personal preference. If you need more utility, and wanna feel the power of the lord, lmg is the way. If you don't need the destruction, and wanna click heads or be more aggressive, the smg is good.

INFORMATIVE POST
the idea with this grenade launcher seems to be that the obrez (shortened mosin) fires off blank cartridges, whose gas propels the grenade out the tube. There's a similar device in Battlefield 1 based on the martini-henry which has a simple tube to drop the grenade into, whereas this device has a wholeass rotary cylinder. So for each grenade you load in you also have to load a blank into the rifle magazine to fire. What this game seems to get wrong about this weapon (aside from this thing even existing) is that you can fire it semi-auto, whereas I don't see any mechanism that would cycle the next grenade in the magazine manually, and the player also doesn't cycle the bolt on the obrez, which he would have to do if this were a real gun
Gregor can you recommend me some glasses, cause I don't if it is pure stetic or it truly changes something if you change the model.

You would be correct. The 7.62x54mm round is used in all Russian machineguns and marksman/sniper rifles.
