This is the true theme song, conducted by Edd Kaehoff, that every longtime Braves fan, including me and my mom ought to still have in their minds when they used to turn their TVs to TBS back in the late '90s.
Therefore I also wanna thank fellow CZcamsr FOXSportsFan, who is a Phillies fan, for finding the right theme music.
And this is coming from a 20-year old who slowly started rooting for the Braves as an 8-year old.
And I am really sorry for forgetting to put Bobby Cox in this video. Bobby, you're the greatest manager the greatest manager the Braves ever had. Thank you for the amazing 25 years as the manager of the Atlanta Braves!!!!

As a Dodger fan I enjoyed watching those Brave teams in the 90s they were my 2nd team
I enjoyed this theme even as a Met fan. I couldn’t watch the Mets regularly so I watched the braves or yanks to get my baseball fix

I grew up in South Florida. I became a Braves fan in 1988 and still remain loyal to this day. I don't care if the Braves are the worst team or the best. They will always be my team. Living in West Tennessee right now, I still chop with great pride. I love my Bravos and always will. GO BRAVOS!!!!!!!!

as a Yankees Fan i've always respected the Braves like a superpower team...even so much more grand than the crosstown rivals Mets...to date the Braves are one of my top 5 favourite teams in order Yankees, Tampa Bay, Florida, Atlanta and Toronto

best theme song ever!!! i remember being in middle school hearing this!!! this is when you knew the braves game was coming on.. almost make me cry though when i think of skip caray... this man loved the braves... (Braves win, Braves win, Braves win, Braves win!!!!!!!!!!!) they should consider bringing this back

This song brings back tons of memories listening to this theme, around 1996-99 (When I lived in New Bern for the first two years of this theme, then moving to Raleigh, NC for the later years), being carefree, playing Super Nintendo and PlayStation 1, going outside, and watching Braves baseball during the Summer months after the NBA season. I miss those times, as well as those Braves teams, which defined my 90s childhood, such as classic Nick, classic TBS/TNT, you name it.
I can remember goin to my uncles house and he put it on TBS and there it is Braves baseball ;)
Watching the Braves was free over-the-air back then! And today Bally Sports/Sinclair controls the broadcast rights and you can't even stream with cord-cutter services anymore. Shame!

I remember when the Braves were televised on TBS it was always song that would play. This song would start and then at about 00:30 Skip Caray would say "Hello again everyone welcoming you to another night of Atlanta Braves baseball here on TBS". Then he would talk about the last few previous games. And then of course when the the game ended they would always show the highlights of that particular game along with this song. I wish the Braves would go back to TBS. Those were the good ole days.

Miss these glory days when the Braves were on TBS. Truly America's Team. Maddox, Glavine, Smoltz, Crime Dog, Chipper, Justice, Klesko and Cox. Won't ever be like that again sadly. It looks like the Braves are gonna win the NL East in 2013, but it just isn't the same anymore.
Wish they could play a game on TBS again with this theme one more time for old time's sake.

The only better baseball theme I can think of might be the one CBS used to open their post-season telecasts in the early '90's (one that would also bring back some sweet memories for Braves fans since it was what was used for games like Sid Bream's slide in '92 or Avery and Smoltz's shutouts to finish off Pittsburgh in '91.

My grandma who died back in May of this year loved the Atlanta Braves even though she lived in Wisconsin. She was saddened when the Braves were not on TBS hardly anymore and loved all the broadcasters who did the games on TBS.
Wow the memories. I was 10 years old living in Atlanta in 1991. Grew up watching the Braves on TBS. I remember going to school on Braves day and everyone would have little tomahawks cut into their hair-I was so upset my mom wouldn't let me. Good times

There was also a slow version of this theme that they would play when there was a rain delay... and also a theme they would play when going on commercial between innings... it would be cool if someone could find those too.

I remember watching these guys on TV back in the 90's and enjoying the color commentary they gave. These guys made watching baseball enjoyable. It really sucked when the braves stopped playing on TBS.

Simply Amazing. Im left speechless and on the verge of tears. I think for anyone growing up in the 90s this theme music reminds us of not just Atlanta Braves baseball but of being a kid. It reminds me of summer nights. Time with my family in front of the TV. Skip Caray. Joy. Goodness who could have thought this theme music could mean so so so much to me. Thanks so much KDviewer07.
:) i had a giant book filled with braves baseball cards in the late 90's wen i was like 7 or 8 and i used to sit dow n and go thru the whole book with my grandma on nights the braves had off and i would sing this song wen i started to open the book lol...i loved the intro they had in 1998(?) with all the braves merchandise and logos and little tv with parts of games on them.

Havent watched tbs since they lost the Braves.
I am a Yankee fan, but I would catch some Braves games on TBS sometimes, when the Yankees aren't playing. I also remember Skip calling the 2000 A.L.D.S. on NBC between the Yankees and the A's. He was a great announcer, and coming from a Yankee fan, thanks Skip for making the Braves games that I watched enjoyable.
