Hi can you please help me. When I connect my camera to remote it works but the live view screen is no there. It just has the control box without the live feed of what my camera is viewing. Thanks

Not sure to be honest. But I don't think so. I think it drains less battery, but I dont think the computer is charging the battery. But I'm not 100% sure

The same for me. I'm afraid this work for some models from A6XXX sieries but not for the A6000.
Hi! I have a Sony a6300 and I’m using a cam link to stream with obs. Do you happen to know which mode I should have the camera on? From my understanding the camera should be on movie mode but obs doesn’t respond with for some reason. So I switched it to manual mode I think it’s called and that mode is supposed to be for taking pictures but it pops up on obs. Do you think that is a camera problem or obs problem? Idk what to do or how to fix.
P.s Also my audio only works on movie movie mode (xlr mic connected to camera)
Definitely movie mode. Make sure the frames per second and the hdmi output frames per second match with obs.

When I open Remote it says "The camera is not connected". I've done everything to troubleshoot it and it's still not working. Any ideas?
Try a different USB cable.

Start in M mode then switch in video mode.

theyangone it happens to be that the Sony A7 doesn’t support it. I bought a €26 capture card and a micro HDMI -> HDMI and so for €30 it’s all up and running
