While we know the Power and Speed types have already been confirmed for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, we do not know if they have a normal/balanced type or if there is technique types in the game and how much these types affect a game that didn't have them previously in the BUDOKAI TENKAICHI SERIES!

Imagine when he vanishes it's the actual smoke effect from the movie. Like we've got janemba and his unique teleportation in raging blast. I can totally see them pulling off his smoke

Kaioken is not a form it’s a technique. If it was it would be listed on the website.
He probably got mixed up because in Mid Goku's picture he's using Kaioken Kamehameha
Goku(Z Early) has as a Techique instead of a transformation
But for Goku early kaioken should be a transformation for more moveste options

I feel like Kaioken would be more technical than just power because the whole point of it is to increase power and speed, and I can see tech being a sort of balance between the two
It could also be a case of some forms/characters having a certain typing, but because of what they are they aren't lacking by any means in the other categories. (That is if they go with only the 3 types anyways)
I don't know why he says kaioken is a transformation, it isn't listed as one on the website, so according to what we have he is wrong
Goku (Kaioken) is not a listed or confirmed "form". In fact, on the website, it lists all the characters and their confirmed forms. And Kaioken is not one of them.
Yeah Kaioken was always just a power up for base Goku and it still will be in this game.
If super armor is still a major thing in this game, all the giant characters could possibly be toxic unless most of the DBS cast (being "ssj3" tier) just go through armor with a single punch.

I would be very surprised if there wouldn't be a "technical type", the kind of character that isn't powerful, fast or tanky, but they have very specific abilities that give them an advantage in specific situations.
If you ask me, Roshi in "base form" should be a "Technical" Character, and of course his Max Power is... power. because we've only seen him use his Max Power form to over-power his opponents, but he uses his base form to outwit them.

Praying so hard there's no character meta and all of them are good and that the meta is just actually being good at the game/knowing how the characters play
Tenkachi was u had to be good, but also there were obviously stronger characters and weaker characters

You don't see much character variety in competitive Tenkaichi 3 because of that very reason
Everyone has their specific strengths and/or weaknesses. It all falls to how good the player is with the certain character.

I don’t think you understand what they meant by that. They basically meant use a Speed or Power type that suits YOU. It all depends on your own play style, so it depends on the user what they prefer. Don’t think there will be a disadvantage using them, game will be most balanced in that sense. Depends on the users play style what they prefer that’s all

@@Gfromda23 100% bro, I played all of them back then, there was a top 10 meta units. Ss4 Gogeta etc much better than the rest, but I think in this game there will be around 30-50 characters where they will all be equal. I think every character will be able to compete with each other, too many good characters now, Rose, fusions, Hit, Jiren etc. I think the game will be good for everyone and you can use everyone and should be able to compete hopefully. We can’t have this many characters and 10 units are meta, I think it’ll be a lot more balanced, 30-50 I think minimum but hopefully more

There was a lot more meta characters than ssj4 gogeta in bt3 like kid buu, super 17, ssj4 goku and vegeta, super gogeta and vegito, omega shenron, lssj broly, all great apes, ssj2 gohan, goku mid and if niggas really play bt3 burter is top 2 OP characters in the game along with 17. It should be a lot more this time around but I still want the overall feeling to be unbalanced the strongest are strong and the weakest are weak with in between some balance characters. Some characters have armor some can’t be grabbed some are faster some are slower that typa thing lol, very show accurate
@@ultradbz7820ssj4 Gogeta actually wasn't that great, you should watch a video on the actually good characters in Tenkaichi 3. Gogeta's only like an A tier character, Perfect Cell is far better than him lol

Kaioken is not listed as a separate character it is just the base form image for mid goku
Idk what the concern is. All this possibly can be is
Speed type = Low damage high speed
Power type = Slow but high damage (Maybe with super armor)
Balanced = Mix of both in some way
It wouldnt be rock paper scissors it would just be different playstyles for the characters

I think if there's going to be aa third its going to be a defense type, kinda like hero colosseum in DBX2. I can imagine for the transformations in Super Saiyan would be a speed type, Super Saiyan God a defense , and Super Saiyan Blue a power type
Really am hoping this isn't really a thing and instead just a way to describe the best way to use the character due to their moveset.
Balancing is going to be insanely important in this game. Anything that can create a potential well defined meta for Sparking ZERO is a problem. This is supposed to be **THE** game where you just pick your favorite character and have a good time. If it's like Tenkaichi 3 it'll be a problem because on that game you can only have a shot at playing on the competitive level with a handful of characters.
Yeah it should be more unbalanced like bt3 in my personal opinion that’s what makes the tenkaichi series fun

Let’s be real no matter what this game is going to be a nightmare online people are gonna meta use the best characters in a tenkachi game. If you think about it broly was always a power type but he wasn't that slow. Just not quite that fast. It probably won't be a massive difference but rather a nice detail to consider. They are trying to keep the best things about Tenkaichi so I'm going to assume the best because of what I have heard so far.
It has also the balance type and ki type on tenkaichi 3. Power type recharge ki very slow but they hit hard
It never stated power characters charge ki slow, just that they burn it fast in exchange for durability and damage. Slow Ki charging on top of that makes it useless

I hope it's just marketing putting characters in a category like type would lead to them feeling too similar and limit them.

@MrBeniscoolLOL tenkaichi 3 had Character types. Giving Vegeta Burters type or Broly Type. This isn't new. And totally different from ultimate tenkaichi. Ultimate Tenkaichi character type was uncontrollable because of the mechanics of the game

As someone who's always liked speedsters, I'm a little sad that my favourite character in fiction (FF Cooler) is obviously going to be a Power type (because of his stature) despite being shown as balanced in the movie, with regards to power, speed and durability. Pretty sure Metal Cooler will be a Speed type but FF Cooler just looks better in my opinion.

the only form i see frieza becoming a power type is through his Max Power form, but its explesetly shown that frieza has insane speed, i mean he was litteraly comparing himself with Dyspo ! (until Dyspo used his trump card, but still frieza is still the #4 fastest character in the T.O.P (if you count Jiren and Goku MUI)
