Hey Thato, new subbie here! Thanks for the video, it's so informative.
Teach Taiwan is really convenient. Been applying to them but yohh they're mizing 🙃
Thank you so much. It could be that many applications are being processed or because of the holidays. We are on winter holidays here, so maybe you should resend your application after the Chinese New Year. They will definitely get back to you. Also, please ensure that all required documents are attached, including the police clearance.
What agencies can one work with for part time teaching gigs?
I really don’t know anything about teaching part time. The only thing I’ve seen ke posts in Facebook groups looking for part time positions but I really don’t know how things work on their side.
Hi Thato, can a secondary teacher with a TEFL cert from Lesotho get a job in Taiwan?
Please contact them to inquire. You can communicate with them on their website or social media platforms
Hi Thato, how easy is it to change jobs once you have accepted a job?
It should be an easy process. I know an English Teacher who worked under Teach Taiwan and was unhappy at her school, they looked into her case and found a new school for her. The only down to it was that her Flight costs were not reimbursed because she left before they could and it isn't the responsibility of the new school anymore. I believe you just have to check your contract and understand it before you do.
@@Unfiltered_with_Thato oh okay. That makes sense. Thanks for the speedy reply. Xx
Hi Thato, Teach Taiwan is convenient for me but can someone without a teaching degree (LLB) use TEFL to apply on Teach Taiwan? Or they don’t accept it at all?
Are you a South African? If you are you can register with SACE and get a teaching license. A TEFL is not one of the requirements with Teach Taiwan, they need a government-issued teaching license.
@@Unfiltered_with_Thato Yes I’m SA’n. I just checked on google and it says SACE is available for people who have education degree or PGCE only.
I’m not a teacher by profession too but I’m SACE registered. Alright, maybe things have changed. Other institutions don’t need SACE so you can apply with your TEFL. Apply, you’ll definitely get a position. All the best🤗
@@Unfiltered_with_ThatoThank you so much Thato♥️
@@Unfiltered_with_Thato how did you register with SACE if you don't have B.Ed of PGCE?
Hey Thato...you are so beautiful 😊
I'd like to know how Teach Taiwan works in a case of a person who wants to move with their family...like kids or siblings?
Thank you hun🫶🏾
Teach Taiwan allocates you a coordinator after the interview who will assist with all travelling documentation. So if you’re moving with your kids or spouse they will guide you on how to go about it.
@@Unfiltered_with_Thato thank you so much.❤
Teach Taiwan
In Taiwan, do they hire you if you don’t have a teaching degree?
Yes they do. 😊
Hey babes...i wanna know if I have to get SACE...Akere joale moo hae we have TSD..
Hey. Atseba I’m not sure if they accept TSD certificates. Are you a teacher by profession? If yes please contact Teach Taiwan and inquire aukwa. All the best 🤗❤️
@@Unfiltered_with_Thato hubby ke yena teacher...thank you I'll ask
Age limit in Taiwan? I love your giggling
I really don’t know what the age limit is😊
Thank you🤗
How much money do you need to move tobTaiwan? You are selling Teach Taiwan in very video and making it seem more convenient.
Please check my “budget” videos for that info. Yes, I came to this country via teach Taiwan, I had many other offers but ended up choosing them because they stood out for me. Their offer made more sense and had more benefits than any other
