Riley was like mom I know what ice cream I want and nobodies is going to get me to change my mind. So independent not giving in and changing her mind. I don't think Riley would ever be one to give into peer pressure in school if she didn't even give in to her mom about what ice cream she wanted.

Me: young, unmarried guy watching mainly out of morbid fascination because seriously how do you guys survive this? Just one little Riley, Ava, etc would drain the life out of me like the golden cup from Indiana Jones, let alone multiply that by five.

She was just playing with Danielle. She and her sisters are smart enough to know how to tease even at not quite five! She has always been a daddy's girl from babyhood though. (Longtime fan)

Both Ava & Parker realize that their parents are "in on the game" - Danielle & Adam keep reinforcing that Parker is Dad's and Ava is Mom's, so the girls obviously go along with their parents' storyline. However, I've often seen Parker say she was going to sit with Mom and not Dad, for example getting on a plane where Riley said SHE would sit with Dad, almost as if both girls had come to an agreement as to who would sit where.
I can relate to Parker on the whole daddy front - I am sooooooooo much closer to my dad.

I grew up in Friendswood and moved away 10 years ago. It's so awesome seeing a family from the same area have so much success on youtube and TV and so many of the locations stir up my memories. Crazy.
I enjoy watching the quints and Blake with their parents they are happy and I love how Danielle and Adam are growing them up.
I really don't know how people concluded that Daniel has a favorite because waw the love i see her giving all her kids is just breath taking... Big up Daniel best mum ever and Busby I wish all fathers where as present as you are, keep setting a good example to all fathers who are watching

Hazel always seems overwhelmed with the exuberance of the others. No one is playing with her even. She just sits back quietly and sinks into the enviroment.
I don't think she's actually overwhelmed 'by exuberance'. She has plenty of her own exuberant, extravert moments, even throughout this video. Unlike Parker, she has no problem interacting with people and she enjoys talking. I think it's more the case that Hazel is not 'taking in' the others' spontaneous interactions with sufficient SPEED to keep up, especially when the others are 'balls of energy' (Riley) in an extra-stimulating environment as is the case here. Hazel seems on her own unique wave-length compared to the others, something akin to how Danielle always said baby-Hazel lived in her own happy bubble. Hazel may look unhappy, but that is contradicted by how often she breaks out into moments of sheer happiness in short shrift. I suspect when she looks unhappy here, it's actually a case of having learned she might as well tune out briefly. Riley is Hazel's opposite, mentally running so fast she sometimes derails, acting prior to thinking (as she does here, bolting from the table before the rule NOT TO resonates in her mind), her 'hyperness' at those times similarly driving her apart from her quint sissies. JMO

I have been completely taken with the quints since they've been born. I just love the whole Family.
