I just finished the Crimson flower Route and I didn’t recruit Annette as the Death Knight recruitment happened around the time I started playing. In a dark way it made me think how her and Mercedes are two sides of the same coin. You have Annette who’s been working hard and searching for so long to find her father only betray her best friend in the process where as Mercedes has had a her life ruined by the system of crests and she betrays here makeshift family to try to be with her brother who she feels guilty for abandoning him in a abusive household.
And at the same time, Annette also has reason to agree with Edelgard's beliefs. Annette may have a crest, but it's not like she just had everything handed to her because of it. She worked her arse off to get where she is.

Gilbert's punishment from the goddess in the form of annette.
This is what happens when you ignore your kid.
Happy Father's Day!
I recruited Annette for my BE run just so she could do this.
Same here fuck Gilbert
@@blanclover122 yeah but by recruiting Annette she is even worse since she's murdering all her old Kingdom friends
@@aman541 honestly man still worth it Gilbert is that awefull

Nope, I recruited them all, they lost faith in Dimitri the moment he snapped.
The worst sin annette committed is murdering her own father.
I love the level up fanfare after Annette just killed her own father
Annette is just doing her best 3DS hero impression.
Gilbert finally got the Divine Punishment he deserved!
Cringe

Huh, Annette is the emille to Gilbert's Mercedes
Huh, I like that take

Sorry Gilbert.
She's my girl now
Oh no. That's a shame. Anyway, onwards.
Wow, imagine that. Killed by his own daughter.
It's nothing new if you've played a Fire Emblem 3DS game.

Slain by his own daughter.
BE route is depressing af. She never even had a chance to rekindle their relationship
That implies it's a relationship worth saving. Some limbs are so diseased that the best solution is to simply cut it off.
She is better off without him.
@@zolphdiggler9653 But they aren`t. Annette was angry with him but did not outright hate him. I kind of think you apply that logic wrongly.
