RAW & JPEG are widely used file formats which are given by the DSLR.
Both the file formats exists in oder to detemine the quality of the photograph.
By Quality I mean is the resolution, Colors & color range, Dynamic Range etc.
The parameters which determines the quality of the photos are responsible to the file format that you select while shooting!
Raw file format consists of all the details kept open in order for you to edit later and JPEG file is a compressed version.
