Ive played maokai in LOL pc for years and he's a good support tank role but in WR i dont feel he's OP ..i could 1v1 with him on top lane with ease using the usual baron lane tanks like Garen, malphite and ornn.But in team fights, he realy excel coz of his crowd control skills.Good video by the way 😊
Yeah, that's why he is banned. Not because of his damage or anything. His impact on teamfights is what's scary about him. Imagine you are playing an ADC and the enemy Maokai dives you in the back line with his point-and-click Root. Zero counterplay
@@thechadfrwrin that scenario youre right.theres no counter but if youre anADC , a good mage support is all you need if you want a fair game against maokai.Zyra is a good couter for maokai .she can ward off maokai with her plants So he cant position himself During a team fight.Positioning iAnd distance is the key winning factor for maokai and Removing this from him will enable his skills useless at team fights.zyra and malphite combination can do this well.another disadvantage for maokai is mobility which you can use in your advantage.Warding realy helps against maokai in my experience.😊
