  • This video was made as a tribute to SDSU Basketball being a fan of their basketball team I decided to make a montage of their best moments this season as well as to the unfortunate end of the 26 game winning streak, regardless I believe this is the best team we have ever had and I will continue to support them in the NCAA's and beyond - Go Aztecs!

The 2019-20 Aztecs will be one of the greatest what ifs in college basketball history. I genuinely believe that they would’ve made the Final Four

Of all the things that got canceled due to covid, SDSU in the tourney is the most disappointing.

As a fellow SDSU fan, great vid! Shame we couldn't see them in the tournament.

Flynn, Wetzell, KJ, Mitchell, Schakel, Mensah, Pulliam all on the same team is soooo stacked. National champs. The amazing thing is this year (2 YEARS LATER) we could theoretically still have Flynn, Mitchell, and Schakel (in addition to Bradley, Mensah, Pulliam, Johnson etc)

This SDSU team would have been national champs

One of the best teams ever in college basketball I wish we would’ve been able to see them play in March madness they would’ve made final four at least

Flynn, Wetzel, KJ, Schakel, Mitchell, Mensah, and Pulliam combined made one of the best teams in college basketball. The best record against one of the toughest schedules with the most dominating wins and top offenses and top defenses in the nation, #1 by every computer metric nearly every single week of the season, a top 5 team almost the entire year and a likely 1 seed in march madness, national championship contenders. The next year despite losing Flynn, Wetzel, KJ, Mitchell and Schakel took SDSU back up in the ranks and won nearly every game again, suffering an untimely loss in the first round to a Syracuse team that didn't miss threes for seven games in a row. Now, without Flynn, Wetzel, KJ, Schakel, and Mitchell, the Aztecs are STILL fairly dominant, and have transfer Matt Bradley who is killing it, pluis Seiko, Mensah, Pulliam, AG, Johnson, but IMAGINE if they had Flynn just like how he was two years ago but with two years more practice, Mitchell and Schakel just like they were last year but with another year of practice, as well as the current players. Team would be unanimous number one, win every game by double digits, and win the natty uncontested, in a manner more dominant than how Gonzaga, Baylor, Kansas have been recently.

Damn I forgot how great Yanni & Mitchell were. And Flynn was even more clutch than Thames or DJ Gay. They could have won a Natty

Can we please find a Yanni 2.0? A big who can score, dish, smooth as silk, and cute? I was hoping Jaedon might be that next offensive contributor down low.
