Can you use the mirror screen without a USB cable? I’ve gone through 3 cables and they all disconnected from CarPlay even though it’s still charging my phone.
Same display as Peugeot 308 2017 (with blue theme)
Stuck at the point where you plug the usb in and no message comes up. Tried a few things but so far not winning on this
When I pop my car into reverse and the camera comes on the car play doesn’t go back to the screen once I’ve gone back out reverse, I have to unplug them put it back in, am I doing something wrong? It’s 2017 plate
My c3 Aircross doesn’t have the CarPlay logo on the screen . Just photos or messages. What should I do? Could it be because there’s no nav symbol on the side of the screen?

Once you connected it with the cable, will it connect on its own without having to plug it back in? Like through Bluetooth?
No, to use this feature you need to be plugged in via USB all the time. You can buy 10/20cm leads online for most phones which make it a bit neater inside the car.
There are some options to use carplay functions without usb cable, using especific dongle: Carlinkit 2.
well presented! But it's so 'naff'to have to have a lead connection dangling from my screen (citroen Berlingo van). C'mon this is the 21st century!
Thanks. I don't have a Berlingo here to look at where the best storage holes for a phone would be at the moment but in some cars/vans, a good solution is to get a shorter charging cable from Amazon or similar - they do them in 10/15/20cm lenghts and this helps to avoid trailing the cable around.

Hi. As you can see on the first screen, there is Android Auto on most models since approximately the middle of 2017 however none of us here have an Android phone to record a demo of that! Sorry.

Hi, im not sure about wireless connectivity, but you have to find the right cable. All the lightning to usb-c cables will charge, but only high quality leads will actually work properly with carplay. I had the same issue
Mine is exactly the same. It’s driving me mad! 🥴 I will try a new lead. Hopefully that will work.
