Hey everyone todays video is all about a list of mansions that as so cheap, anyone could buy them. These homes either have a chilling back story, need a bunch of work, need to be demolished or have some sort of catch. Mansions or large houses of these size do not sell for this cheap usually but if you're willing to renovate them or put in the extra work these houses are a complete steal. The mansions mentioned in this video are still for sale and if you have any questions about them be sure to message me on instagram @kylemcgran

This Housing market collapse might end up being a part of us for a very long time. With inflation currently at about 9%, my primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund of about $300k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains.
The stock market is a way to hedge against inflation. Most notably amidst recession, investors need to understand where and how to allocate funds to hedge against inflation and still make profits.
I paid up all my mortgages in 2yrs while working with an asset manager. I’m 50 and my husband 54 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. We got to realize that the secret to financial freedom is making better investments.
That is so amazing, I’m trying to get onto the ladder at 40. I wish at 55 I will be testifying to similar success. How can I reach this manager of yours? because I'm seeking for a more effective approach on my savings
Sonya Lee Mitchell is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
I was offered a 50 million dollar mansion with 25 acres for 150k, catch was the property assessment and back taxes, tax on it was like 90k a year. Belonged to a drug kingpin that got busted. Saw some other good deals, property haunted. Other issues, old places got asbestos issues, lead pipes, rotten wood, leaky ceiling, can’t change too much if Historical buildings, all sorts of restrictions, there is a reason why it is selling so cheap lol.
There's always kilotons of strings attached! Not to mention, ye olde mansion is bound to bankrupt you unless you already make an income of 100 grand plus or you're planning to use at least part of the property to make an income that can sustain the costs of upkeep. You know what they say ''If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!!''
@@jackesioto Saw a property selling 10 bucks. Catch was it was a historical building. You had to move it. Owner wanted you to pay him and move the property so that he could build a new one. Couldn’t demolish it cuz of its historical designation. Imagine the costs. Lifting it onto blocks, Cutting it so you put it onto a heavy load trailer then transporting it to a new site. You could build 2 homes with what it would cost, just to move it.
I am looking for partner for my big business
Not to mention the areas of these places a dullsville beyond.
just found this post - i was born in the hospital that is next to the property - Kings Daughters - that town is no prize. that property sold for 170k and its overpriced for that town.
The Decatur Illinois home is sold. The lake Charles home is sold. Victorian home in Ohio is sold. The Ashland Kentucky home removed their listing.
The Port Huron Castle is still for sale and so is the one from Wheeling West Virginia.
Are you for sale? I go 3000 in specie.
I can only imagine the heating bill and taxes plus renovating 😱
The big blue house in Lake Charles used to be pink. It's right around the corner from my apartment. I've always wanted to own it.
Could you include the cost of property taxes on the properties you show.
The Italian house in Wheeling WV is Italian because of the huge influx of Italian immigrants in the late 19th through mid 20th century. Huge Italian heritage in that area.
Just because you can afford to buy something doesnt mean you can afford to own it.
I'm elated I discovered your CZcams channel. I love timeless homes. Keep up the fantastic work my guy. Oh ! Now I'm intrigued about Ark 7. I've never ever heard of Art 7.
Interesting properties but I'd imagine the cost of repairs and heating and taxes are the hidden costs. The Italian prime was my favourite one.
Yeah, historic mansions, palaces and castles tend to be money pits! Thousands or tens of thousands a month to maintain and possibly hundreds of thousands or millions in restoration costs and repairs! Unless you already make hundreds of thousands in your current career, or you plan on operating a business out of the property, the recurring expenses are likely to bankrupt you and send you from the manor house to the poorhouse!
Note: All shown were "empty". It's hard to sell an empty house even if it's ready to move in. None of these appeared ready to move in. Every community of any size has an assortment of homes like this to chose from. Good luck.
Repair and maintenance would be mind bougling, old mansion also give me the impression that it is haunted, given all the haunted movie there is out there
If these cheap mansions for sale were any kind of a bargain, don't you think that local, savvy, experienced investors would buy them already? There a lot of successful property investors in every part of the US who constantly scan the market for good real estate deals and underpriced properties. There's a reason why these mansions haven't been snapped up already.
That's why this video is CLICKBAIT and not "everyone" can buy these homes. Kyle McGran is stupid AF.
That castle in Port Huron is absolutely amazing I want it so bad
usually if it sounds too good to be true , it usually is
just imagine the needed renovation costs of some of these
essential repairs and all has to be or brought up to current code standards
and what about maintenance costs and taxes on some of them big houses
and what about any back taxes owed , or leans on the property
and the location , meaning you gonna move maybe to an area where you can’t make enough money to support your family or take on a massive project like most of them houses are ?
well good luck in / with your new mansion
I love these old homes. Perfect dream homes!
Im betting the low cost is all about location.
Or taxes and heating costs. However if several related families bought one and split it up, it would be more manageable. Especially if everyone brought skills like electric and pluming. You would need to get along with your family to live that close.
These properties are abandoned because of the 'maintenance' and the 'property taxes' on them. All the cheapest properties are only such because NOBODY can afford to maintain them, which makes them worthless.
hi Kyle good to hear about the history of the place you be safe out there 🙏🙏🙏🙏 you do a great job on the videos hope to see more videos nice to see All the videos but sad to see them homes like that ❤️ you guys
Good video like the idea of the rent shares
Not to mention the probability of back taxes and structural integrity, each of these homes requires between 500,000 and $2 million restoration money. Also, don’t ever buy anything listed on the historical national registry or anything like that. The restrictions are extremely rigorous and caused tremendous extra expense. You are not given free range to do what you want to your own property!
The purchase price is the least of your worries. In addition to the cost of renovations to make them livable, you'll then pay a fortune in taxes, not to mention the cost to maintain these homes, heating and air, it would still make you broke unless you are very wealthy.
You gotta have the money for the upkeep of the property and the home.
I like seeing the inside of these old homes. I would have liked to have seen more of the inside of the houses though. You only showed a couple rooms in each. A full tour would have been nice. Anyway, if anybody noticed, the very last house started with the outside front door on the right and then at the end of the video it was on the left. Was that a magic trick or an option to choose which side you want the door on? Lol!
The camera was backwards. He didn't reverse the shot!
You should put the addresses on these properties to see if they’re still available. I’m interested in buying them.
The Decatur Illinois home is sold. The lake Charles home is sold. Victorian home in Ohio is sold. The Ashland Kentucky home removed their listing.
The Port Huron Castle is still for sale and so is the one from Wheeling West Virginia
@@E-D-actually a CZcams real estate woman bought the wheeling house
Great great video. Very enjoyable. But what's with the flipped photos?
Beautiful houses.
I liked them all, they were beautiful
Average home price in the United States: $428,700
The median home sales price is $428,700 as of the first quarter of 2022. That's a 30% increase from 2020, when the median was $329,000. Median sales price of homes in the U.S. Mean sale price of homes in the U.S.4 days ago. where are you getting that? The average price of US home is $250,000. I'm curious
I'd love a link to the homes you feature so I can check them out more.
Umm🤔 He told you, ARK7
Cool looking places there now
I think you are pretty awesome. I love your videos ! Gorgeous houses !
That's a amazing house 🏠 there now
Like the Dome house and the Louisiana the most. Have an awesome weekend & Keep Orange Crushing It!
Yeah, but that Louisiana one seems too good to be true?
@@rodneymiller4620 Maybe So.
So even someone like me, who has less than $54 in my bank account can do this Ark thing?
Yep! Feel free to pitch your tent for 2 nights on the lawn of any one of these fine properties for the low low price of $26 a night! 😁
Why is the thumbnail picture *never* one of the properties? I’d like to know more about the house in the thumbnail.
$21.8 million LaBelle Mansion in Toronto
Where’s the $31,999 mansion?
The Poland Nelson house sold last year
Is that still available, there’s a “sold” sign outside? Where is it located?
HI Kyle how do i find the ones in Florida
Do you know any of the houses located in Las Vegas?
You had me ROFL at "eye watering Barbie Pink carpet"
Your wonderful!
Do you have any mansions right outside of Philly?
Wonder how many of the older historic mansions are haunted? Just curious.
I live a couple of blocks from The Castle, lol
Can you please add in the video the name of the town because I can't understand some of the names of these towns. A list would be great. Thanks.
I like to see the whole property. Can you show that?
Been watching way too many horror movies to know that ALL THESE HOUSES ARE HAUNTED!!!!!
How do I contact to buy any of these properties
10:00 the way i understand that the West Virginia one and Wheeler has kind of sketchy town
I'll bet that first how comes with a need to completely redo the whole electrical and plumbing.
You don't show enough of pictures on the inside and property You just refurbish flip over pictures that's the same room So it makes it like there's something hiding that needs to be done that's not being said in the video.
When it comes to cheap houses the township can REQUIRE you to immediately forfeit a deposit of 10s or 100s of thousands until HEAVY safety repairs are complete meaning the REAL price to buy it is no where near the listing price.... and of course proterty taxes end up costing you more than home in just a few years. Illinois did this to a lot of normal houses, sold them cheap but put a high tax on them so you are basically paying RENT, REALTOR FEES, ALL UTILITY/LANDSCAPING, AND MAINTENANCE after you pay off your small mortgage for a small size house in a crappy area. Who is dumb enough to buy that and not just rent a home? Especially when it was just miles from indiana border in suburbs like park forest. Illinois would rather hoard those houses with no owners while they rot away instead of let people buy them all up and start paying lower taxes on them all asap.
There's no noise in Illinois...
So, about the property taxes in arrears...
Does everything inside come with it?😊
where is the house in Lake Charles Louisiana listed with Latter & Blum for 215,000. at 8.48 on video
WHere is the Lake Charles Louisana one located? Address if available.
Find me something in SW Wisconsin 😊
How can you inquire about these homes??
How do I contact to buy?
Nice big houses but sadly can't even afford that
Decatur mansion was sold on 2/13/2023
Only liked the first and second one.
Are these homes for real? About, on average, how much in renovation $ is required to bring these homes 🏡 up to comfortable living standards. Good heating/AC, no leaking roofs, and other similar issues? 🤗👍♥️🏡
So how about mentioning the annual taxes on these places , Kyle .
Beautiful Historical homes for sale fairly inexpensive. The only catch may be having to live with tenants already there and those who don’t mind that big thump in the dark . Actually you couldn’t pay me enough to spend one night in those haunted homes.
Yeah..........but you gotta ask yourself WHY they are so cheap.
Rotten foundations? Flooded basements? Fractured walls? Bugs? Rodents?
Toxic water supply? Failing septic tank? Rezoned property lines?
Back taxes owed? Some toxic company move in next door?
Massive repairs needed to come up to code?
Sounds like a dream, but is actually a nightmare.
The utility bills will kill you, not to mention the prop taxes and insurance.
The half finished (interior partition framing) smells of builder's liens.
IF it's too good to be true...
If the half finished place in Lake Charles, LA was such a bargain, a builder or GC would jumped on it, finished it, and flipped it for a hefty profit. Obviously a lot more going on there.
Does it come with ghosts or should I say friendly spirits
May i have the address for the house in Concord Ohio. We are currently looking for a house. We live in Ohio. I would love to work on this unique home.
🎉
It would be worth moving to the States and buying one of these beauties
the U.S. has mass killings every day… please consider that before moving here…🤔🤔🤔
Do you ever get anything in Tenn
I bet there are rodents galore in these old houses😳😳😳
Anyone know if that Lake Charles mansion is still for sale?
I am a Rathbone, would love to reclaim that Ohio Rathbone home. Where and who do I contact for it ?
👍
I wonder how Ark7 is driving rental costs. I wonder if it's making it harder for people to rent because of raising rents?
I want all these estate APB.😘est
😊🔥🔥👍👍
I’m actually making settlement on the one in Virginia
I’ve searched for a few of these you say is for sale. But nothing comes up on Zillow. Why don’t you post the links to the actual MLS listing for each if they’re really for sale at these prices.
I don't know because I definitely don't want to be buying a haunted house or mansion that would be a nightmare for any investor because once you buy it it's your problem 😢
Seaton Manor sold for $170000 in May 2023
Sure, most can buy these properties cheap, but few can afford to maintain them or restore them
The taxes are probably prohibitive
Is this one sold?
are there more houses like this in 2024 right now please help me !!
The Logansport property Sold over 1/2 a year ago with multiple offers for OVER list price. The property is underhgoing a major resstoration (estimated at over 500K) as a wedding venue. This video is just really about trying tosell some real estate investment scam not about affordable properties,
italianate and "italian" are not synonymous are they?
"Seems like the house on the thumbnail is not in the video.".
They have to be haunted, all of them.
Where is the $31 thousand dollar mansion 🤔
That's for him to make money and get views.
U can’t remodel then or upgrade them because there cosider a historical home…
This was disappointing. I want to see the inside. You showed the outside most of the time. Only a couple of rooms on the inside.
Houses need realtor listing
Where is the $30k mansion in the preview?
CZcams 30 Fifeshire road. There’s vids of it on here.
1:11 he says original fireplaces as he pans threw a room with a bricked up close wall fireplace hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahhahaha
Location is significant …a home could be 1 penny but if its in Indiana then I do not want it.
Seaton Manor is on the market that cheap because it's haunted!
Wish I could buy would make a youth homeless center for kids .
