Nice! My Mother was 10 when Great Depression happened. All girls learned how to stitch. She never wasted fabric, towels or linens. I liked moccasin socks she made from old denim jeans, towels and socks.
My grandmother was a seamstress and would never waste any clothing etc what she could make was unbelievable but whatever she tackled in life was the same she could stretch food in ways you would not believe and make anything at all to eat or drink . I wish I had half her talents .

Once again, so clever and cute. You are so cute dancing around in your new slippers! Don't skip though! Put some dots of hot glue, or fabric paint on the bottom so they will be non-slip

I absolutely adore these and am going to dig through the bag of old towels now, my only concern is no tread on the bottom could make this a safety risk for elderly specially. Be careful to whom you gift them.
