Dji mini 4 pro flight with only CPL adj. filter

Is it really needed to use Nd filters?
I dont think you need it if your not a pro photografer.
I only use a polaroid cpl adjustable filter to prevent sunshimmer true the lense, and also filming into rivers and water.
