I really want to believe that it was just a prank because that what makes the most sense. But then I remember one episode of Smosh Mouth where they were talking about happiness (a little bit towards romantic topic) with Anthony and then Anthony just said something like "but Shayne is happy tho nowadays" hinting like there was someone in Shayne's life and something big that happened in Shayne's life that made him happy. All jokes aside, I truly can't imagine how taxing it must've been to keep arguably the biggest part of their lives private. Having to constantly be aware of their words and actions for so long must've been exhausting, and knowing that if they were to announce anything that it would break the internet and have even more attention placed on them. I'm so happy that they can hopefully feel more at ease on and off camera knowing they don't have to be super vigilant anymore. That being said, I'm sure the sheer volume of attention this is getting is overwhelming and probably uncomfortable, so I hope that we can do our part to make them feel comfortable being on camera together without fear of being bombarded. Again, so so excited for them!
