I wish he would make longer videos, not complaining at all I just love listening to him.His voice is what makes these videos interesting and I can tell he has a passion and love for doing his job.
This guy is amazing. I have the utmost respect for him. And he causes me to appreciate all I took for granted when I loaded and lit my pipe. It is incredible, after watching these videos, that I can afford pipe tobacco at all. It is clearly more art than consumable product.
HH Line with Oriental Flake would be great. I also would appreciate european flake made by tobacco just from europe or in another way: different continental flakes with only tobacco from countries of the continental like africa, asia, south america, north america, asia, europe and Australia (if there is any tobacco farming).
Great video. Hi, I am smoking your tobaccos for the past 50 years... successfully ;-) Recently, Mac Baren has started to manufacture The Charles Preston "Presbyterian Mixture", of which I have always been a fan, because of the uniqueness of the mixture. When I used to open the original made tobacco, I was greeted by that unique aroma. Now, after opening the MB made can, I miss that unique aroma. The tobacco is much lighter in color, and does not taste like it used to be. MB Solent mixture was always very similar to the original Presbyterian, but not quite like it. Since MB is (to me) the best pipe tobacco brand, I would appreciate, if you could compare the original with your make and try to get that aroma back! Thank you!
@@macbarentobaccocompany5834 wow now that’s what I call amazing „customer support“! Because of a single CZcams comment the master blender of a multi million dollar company is willing to look into one of his own creations, to possibly change it and maybe (if possible) changes the mixture to make it like it used to be. No false pride or ignorance in the way. Thank you Per for your humble nature and keep up the good work! P.s.: I would love to see a oriental forward blend in the HH line, maybe even without (or only very few) Latakia to make these natural oriental tobaccos really shine. I just love their incense like smell and taste, combined with the unrivaled taste of natural spices. And I don’t mean a peppery spicyness, I’m thinking about something like Kardamom and coriander seeds, with hints of mace and cinnamon. Such a blend from Mac Baren would be amazing, since your tobacco quality is always superior!
I wonder too about Presbyterian... I’ve heard that Planta used to make it in two versions, one for release in continental Europe that had some sort of added flavour (without being an aromatic), and one for the English and American markets that were more true to the original blend. I wonder, if this is correct, which blend is it that we have now?

So much information to process, I think I would like to know more about the process. Enjoyed your time Per
There is much information in the tobacco world. Never expect to learn all.

2006, is it the born of the HH line, Vintage Syrian?. I really like that blend.
Yes, the HH vintage Syrian was "born" in 2006, and left again in 2017 due to a zero stock of Latakia out of Syria.
❤️👍🏾❤️

Wait...if a casing is "undetectable," why not leave it out? Obviously, it must be detected on some level, or there's no point in adding it.
Is there any proper successor for the Gold of Denmark blend?
why is virginia rolling blend that mild ?
