I am not against celebrities having private jets, hell I would love one. Just don't fly all over the world and preach to me about conspicuous consumption or saving the environment because that not only is annoying but rings very very hollow.

In truth these aircraft are leased. The Rock isn't going to spend 65 million of his 220 million just for outright ownership. Not to mention maintaining fueling and employing a flight crew.

With a few exceptions (and egos)They don’t really “own” those aircrafts. They pay a share for them or lease them. Does not make it cheap anyways; but in that context it is better than spending millions of dollars maintaining them, and paying a crew.
It does make it cheaper though.

I was working as waiter in Hollywood back in 1974 and John Travolta and his friends came in after finished filming at Paramount Studio a few blocks away .

In 2017 the Rock flew on my flight in 1st class with his own row and I was his flight attendant. My airline did get him vip access to the plane usually given to our elite travel rewards members. This guy was One of the nicest, & smelled incredibly immaculate. Im guess’ n he didn’t have his jet back then or that perhaps he had to book commercial last minute. Whatever the reason, I’m glad I met him. He did mention he was on his way to filming in LA. Ahhh I can still smell him in 2022 if I close my eyes sent was amazing 👃🏽🙌🏽🥰
Converting a freighter to a passenger plane is crazy expensive but an option I like a lot.
I would love to have one of those “half converted”: the front half to passenger and keep the aft for cargo, so I can take a couple of my cars or my motorcycles (and a few friend’s) along with me 😊

Not to be a stickler but John Travolta donated the 707 to a museum 2 years ago so it's retired.
I know that John Travolta owns several planes.
And Quantas gave him the plane in the same kind of stunt as Drake got his. He did not pay 157 mil for it.

Whoever put this together doesn’t know crap about corporate aircraft. The maximum altitude of a G-650 is NOT 41,000 feet - they cruise higher than that on relatively short flights. The actual maximum certified altitude for it is is 51,000 feet, and they routinely cruise at 43,000 and 45,000 feet.
They only built 250 or so G-200’s because they introduced a much improved version, the G-280. So in reality, Ronaldo’s airplane is that exclusive - it’s just an older, inferior model.
Drake is super lucky. I never heard anything like that. I always wondered that does anybody got giant plane as a private jet. Is it possible that a company gifting a plane to their brand ambassador. And there is one person. #Drake.

Quantas Air gave Travolta the 707. It is was the kind of publicity stunt. He did not actually pay that for the plane. It was a commercial place decommissioned.
Everyone can owns a private yet on the end....just make a plan to get there. This is with everything. The only thing you have to do is to follow your dream to get there. Work hard for it. Surround yourself with the right people.

Several of the pictures shown of Kylie Jenner's plane are not real. The first picture is that of her old plane a Gulfstream. The second picture shown is the actual plane, Globall7500. The bathroom shown at 7:04 isn't hers nor the picture at 7:06. The lavatory and crewrest area on her plane are much smaller than what's shown.

I think Harrison Ford is number one in the sky but you forgot about his two helicopters he also flys. He always does the flying because he absolutely loves it and is into more vintage things then state of the art ones. Owning a private jet is in the same way outdated as owning a huge yacht. Maintaining a private jet or a yacht like Azzam costs millions every year. How often do celebrities use a private jet? So this doesn't make sense. Today every airport has a private jet charter. These jets are perfectly maintained and new.
When they themselves aren't using the jet, it's often hired out.

I love aviation but the pollution is intolerable to live with. During the pandemic I saw birds I did not see in my area...I live under a flight corridor between 2 airports and boys it was quiet!! I still have my dream to have a piper cub on floats in my backyard...the Restigouche river and yes make some noise!
