Om Dum Durgayei Namaha
The Goddess Durga is said to have the combined powers of Lakshmi, Saraswati and Kali. This mantra is often used for protection against internal or external negative forces.
Simple Translation
"Om and Salutations to that feminine energy which protects from all manner of negative influences."
Goddess Durga is the mother of the universe and believed to be the power behind the work of creation, preservation, and destruction of the world. Since time immemorial she has been worshipped as the supreme power of the Supreme Being and has been mentioned in many scriptures - Yajur Veda, Vajasaneyi Samhita and Taittareya Brahman.
The supreme soul is otherwise called Shakti (power). From this power, generates all forms of knowledge of the world and it is accepted as vital cause of creation, existence and destruction. According to 'Shree Durga Shaptshati- Rahasyam', the original power is Mahalaxmi that created three pairs of Supreme Powers. They are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva as male and Saraswati, Laxmi and Parvati as female, and they married respectively. Maha Saraswati is well known as Brahmani, Mahalaxmi as Vaishnavi and Mahakali as Maheswari. Durga Shakti is the original cause of all the present or past worldly occurrences. Durga Shakti is called as Adhyashakti, Paramatma Shakti or Ati Prakrutika Shakti. She is creating and controlling other two powers: Natural and General. Natural Power is called as Atma Shakti, Prakrutika Shakti, Pancha Mahabhuta Shakti etc. This Shakti creates and controls the General Energy. General Energies are called Jada Shakti or Tamashakti. By the blessings of Durga Shakti, the mother of the Universe, man is able to get his emancipation or salvation and indulge in enjoyments in performance of his daily activities. So Vyasadev, the eminent poet of "Devi Bhagwat", has aptly described "Rudrahinam Vishnuhinam na vadanti janastatha Shaktihinam Yathasarbe probodhanti Naradhamam". The powerless persons are despised as mean persons. So, by being devoted to the Supreme, we should be strong and powerful by her grace.
Durga beej is Doom but when any mantra is recited, the tone can be changed a little bit based on the music and emotions of the chanter. God is concerned more about the emotions of the one calling him or her rather than the pronunciation of the actual words. For me, when I think of durga, I think of Power. Hindi word for power is 'Dam'. So the words can be changed based on the emotions you carry when you call the gods. Hope this helps ! - Hudba

I was just walking a trail in the woods where I have been walking for 20+ years. I asked Mother Durga to give me a (NATURE) sign if she was available for me to pray to, and had Grace for my life. I am chanting this everyday 108 times. After reading Raghu's comments I will increase it to 1108 times a day. Benefits are there in life and career. Negative energies are getting removed. Lots of blessings you will feel in your life.

I can say for myself that these prayers are powerful. In *August 2023* the *day after* I started to pray to Maa Durga, I suddenly won *a free degree course* to study at a college of my choice. My name was chosen at random out of over *1,000 students* who had also entered this competition. It came at a time when I had no money for my degree tuition fees. I am still struggling financially but I do live in hope for now.

@@lucamauricio3784just like the video. Find a nice place to sit quietly or walk around chanting for 108 times. It doesn't have to be exact. But it's better if you have a mala beads necklace.
Are you skeptical? I had several problems/negative attachments and I started chanting this a week and within that week, my energy levels went up..my positivity returned and the problems I had in my life were solved. I am Muslim woman from Turkey & I listen Hindu religious prayers & videos everyday India's religious prayers-videos, I like it a lot, gives me peace & brings me good luck & my day goes good when I listen these videos. I respect all religions but I don't believe all religions leaders, they make humanity hate each other & not respect each others religions. I think Hindu culture & religions is not bad, those who does not understand Hinduism they show each others religions to hate each others religions. Hindu religious prayers are like Islam, we Muslims do prayers almost similar same way. If the religions give peace & helps me to become a good & happy person & helps my souls to have peace, I will respect that religion & their people. We humanity need to love & accept each other no matter whom we all believe & what are our cultures are. Hinduism is also misunderstood like Islam is, this is how I think. I like Hindu meditations, I don't see nothing wrong with it. Hindu language is very beautiful to me like Turkish. Middle East & Turks culture are similar, I don't see why we cannot get alone, we did before. Love to all good Hindus & please do not murder Muslims because we eat cow, because we eat what Allah told us to eat. Also Muslims need to respect Hindus religions & their culture as well. Any path or spiritual pursuit with promise of god-like status is questionable at least, and satanic at worst as it undermines the creator's authority. Yes I understand this I discussed it with one of my very understanding friends. The knowledge is money and I am holding the money out in my hand but nobody is grabbing it lol.

I’ve learned that it is key to do this daily until you are constantly in a state of confident protection. I read through the comments and quite a few people want to know who is getting results. Yesterday 08/09/2020 I chanted along the entire hour and before I got to 30 minutes I felt a feeling of well being and joy all together and believe or not clients started calling. Perhaps I am wired differently than others, but as soon I started listening or chanting wonderful things happen. I just finished another hour and my whole body is vibrating so good. I am having to go to court with these people, the police are finally listening to me; and I am waiting to go to work; already had orientation at work after 20 years of living in pure poverty; also my application finally went completely through into the system; now for it to go through the rest of the computer office system so I can go to work.
