I carry my Edc Fixed blade in the front vertical position with a quick release sheath . A bit faster on the draw than one with a retention button on it like yours . Decent looking blade you have there also .
TOPS Brakimo, rear inside the waistband at a 30 degree angle. Clip is on the trousers behind the belt so nothing visible except the handle. For a larger knife, such as a Bowie,or any knife with a blade longer than 7 inches, a Panther Concealment Sheath is amazing.
The Offgrid Knives Cleaver Hoglet has a pretty nifty clip system that can be changed to vertical or horizontal; im 5'6" and 120" so it's hard to conceal anything on my frame, especially if it's hot and I'm in lighter clothes, but the Hoglet just disappears on you.
I am right handed and always carry my sheet knives horizontal with the tip just right from the pants button. Very easy access and comfortable in the car or sitting down.
In Oregon youre better off with CCW and a compact glock that way you can carry it concealed. They dont have any limit on blade size but it has to be visible otherwise its a felony but walking anywhere especially public places and restaurants with a visible blade it does draw unwanted attention.
Unfortunately carrying a concealed fixed blade knife is a crime here in Kalifornia and under certain circumstances can actually be a felony🚔 But folders have no size limit and can be concealed.
@@DavidLee400. I'm pretty familiar with the California penal code, it's my job to be. 😉 You can carry a fixed blade knife. Half of the outlaw bikers and homeless people here do. But it MUST be exposed (open carry) on your person. It cannot be concealed. Trust me, you don't want to put it to the test. The lesson will be expensive. Penal Code 21310 tells you this law applies to dirks and daggers. Penal Code 16470 defines a dirk or dagger. A fixed blade knife is defined as one. That's why it's treated different.
Horizontal in front, usually with a Bradford Guardian 3 or 3.5 or similar. Horizontal in back may look cool, but if you use your knife regularly like I do, it's awkward getting it back in the sheath.
I made a sheath so that I could carry in the righty scout position. It's pretty open, but it guides the knife back into the sheath, which makes it much more practical
This looks amazing ! I love skeleton knives 😅 @upknife has the F series Predator fixed blade and I want to convince them to release the skeleton model !!!! Would be so sick !!!!
Really I find that’s the best way to carry a fixed blade, I can’t ever feel my knife when I carry scout. I can go on an hour long drive and never notice it’s behind me

I wish to have a good horizontal sheath available in europe without paying customs a dime :D

The question is... whats not a crime in Cali these days? 😂
Im pretty sure they updated that in 2020 and you can pretty much carry it bc i know you couldn’t carry an automatic for jack before the update

Yes very inconvenient.

Carrying it by the handle or sheath seems safest.

Nobody scout carries after the first time they take an asser and land on it

aren’t fixed blades illegal to carry in most states?
It depends on the length of the blade. Here in NY we can carry fixed blades up to 4 inches
